I wish Bogdan Stoica had chosen boxing 2.

Romanias HW talent is in kickboxing at the moment, with Daniel Ghiţă, Bogdan Stoica, Raul Cătinaş and Cătălin Moroşanu

Man the man just started his career and he is fighting once a year. He has substance, but he desperately needs a good team behind him. Pro boxing in Romania is at 0 level in every aspect.

Some people were calling for him to get on Prizefighter. Do you think it's a better idea for him to leave Romania and maybe base himself out of the UK? :think

Well as of right now his best option must be Canada. There are 4 romanian boxers at Interbox and he could acomodate just fine.

That's true, he could join that camp and get support and guidance from them. :good Yeah, that's probably better than striking out alone in Britain.

I was acctualy waiting for his fight more then I waited for Bute's. Last time he fought was 15 months ago. He should have 4-5 fights a year

Yes, that is too long a layoff for such a talented young guy.

Nope. He is just the next guy that will be hyped as a Klitschko beater until he gets beat by a Klitschko. Then he will be labeled an overhyped, fat, bum.

the guy is from Special Forces, you know, wearing a mask and bursting into houses to catch very dangerous criminals; why should he take his boxing career seriously and risk getting bashed on boxing forums by trolls :p when he could continue leading an easy, quiet and boring life

Mike Perez looks like the only up and comer that could pull of a Corrie Sanders type win against Wlad within 2 years time, even then he would be a big under dog. I think the chap has the style and tools to KO a big name, his style though will see him lose his fair share to top level fighters though. He really could be a young Sanders.

I'm actually impressed by the guy. Good speed, power, technique looked fine, good combination punching, defense was decent. Obviously we need to see more though.

Wlad won't be around when this guy gets to contention level.

If he was, I'd still favor Wlad.
