See this is where i have a problem with people commenting on an issue they don't understand.

BJS was, as you put it, "Up and ready to face two guys 3G beat" because they were the best fights he could make for himself at the time.

Instead of taking time off, he took himself out of his comfort area. He left home and began working with the Ingle gym, alongside Brook, and it's been a revelation to his career.

He wanted a B grade fighter as a warm up before facing GGG, so he targeted Lemieux......who actually turned BJS down so the best opponent he could get instead was C grade WMJr.

He beat him, but unfortunately for BJS, GGG was now engaging in talks with Canelo, so BJS wanted to stay active for the first time in his career and went back to B grade Lemieux.

In the meantime, he's hoping there's a clear winner between GGG/Canelo so he can fight them next.....That doesn't happen, so once he beats Lemieux he's forced to take a tune up (Murray), in order to stay active whilst waiting for GGG/Canelo.

As he's a Brit like myself, I like to know a lot about our boxers and keep myself up to date with where they're at.

I'm not a 'fan' at all and never choose to watch his fights, but I have nothing against him.

This win is getting completely overrated I mean lemieux is a monster puncher that's it and he looked in terrible shape

A whole lot more than that, my man. A much higher percentage of fans scored it for Golovkin than other boxers and trainers who stated their opinions did. I wonder why that might be the case. And more than 10% of fans did, too, by the way.

    Many do.

I myself just want the best fights and opponents faced out there. If a belt is on the line, sweet. If not, the better fight is still the better fight.

Well that’s as honest an answer I’ve ever had off you and to be sure I liked CST80s comments but really Isal you should know CST80 by now so when he says to you Saunders has got Canelo running scared I may be wrong here but I’d say he’s baiting you, think about Isal someone who has mental encyclopaedic boxing knowledge like him knows when offers were made, not made so you really ought to be able to read between the lines esp when it’s about your fav guy.
Ok I’m gonna hazard a guess if CST80 says I’m off the mark so be it so when he says Canelos running scared I’d say that’s the bait but when he says Saunders is all wrong for Canelo that’s a truism based on some facts that Canelo has struggled against slick boxers.

I think it’s very clear by now that Canelo is not in the ducking business but I’m not sure he’d want to give Saunders a pay day anyway as he doesn’t bring loads to the table other than him beating Golden boys Lemieux, all risk and no reward.
Last point one of your partners in crime, fellow Canelo fan James 5000 has been saying for some time now,we’ll before the Lemieux fight that BJS would be a nightmare for Canelo.

Well that’s actually a good point cause you look at what Crawfords just done being the first guy in over a decade to unify and become undisputed as achievement it’s a major thing as there’s often politics to deal with ect but I’d say this is what you’re getting at as to be sure nobodies really talking much about Crawfords achievement on account of the opposition showing its who you beat and not necessarily what you won right?

Very basic as well but those of in the know predicted a one sided schooling whereas there were plenty on here and in the media(Michael Montero)who predicted Lemieux to knock Saunders out late on which I though were as dumb as those picking Broner to beat Mikey Garcia lol.

All things are not equal. Crawford's opponents were weak to achieve what he did, similar to Linares being the top dog and Ring champ at LW for example, however Crawford faced most of the top ranked opponents during his stay regardless of them having a belt or not. Example: Indongo didn't just "have a belt," he had worked his way up to the top rankings and thus was among a very small list of top ranked fighters to face that would have been the best match. Whom else ranked better could he have faced than who he did? So one must look at that side of the argument as well.

Yes and Saunders has had strange journey in as much as he held the last belt that GGG wanted got himself into a position where at one time it looked both Golovkin and Canelo wanted his belt but instead of being smart he went off the rails, piled weight on and nearly lost to Akavov a guy who he should of beat in his sleep.
After that fight a very honest Saunders said I can’t fight GGG after that performance and I thought that was it for him but something must of clicked cause as soon as he swapped trainers and a trainer who favours hard work it turns out that the rebel BJS,lazy b*****d extrodinaire actually liked the hard work.
Anyway sounds like a bit of both,BJS ducked GGG once before probably when Tom Loeffler came over to look at football grounds though I may be wrong.
Then on Golovkins side after talks of a big fight in Kazakhstan I think BJS was up for that but after the tough fight against Jacobs it looks like GGG declined it as he also obviously had his eye on the Canelo fight.
Sounds crazy but can anyone remember Oscar and his demands?at one point they told Golovkin to not go a fight Saunders before Canelo, many on here said Tom Loeffler and Golovkin should have just gone ahead like a big f*** you to Canelo n Oscar but I knew that wasn’t gonna happen as GGG and K2 would of agreed to him wearing a pink leotard if it meant securing that fight K2 come across as weak imo.

Kinda tough to win off the back foot vs the best front foot fighters in GGG, Jacobs, Mallow, or DChenko, especially when 3 of the 4 have shown as good or better back foot game DJ, JC, SD.....
To climb into the top 5, he'd need to beat GGG or a combination of those 4.
I think he'd have to be favored vs more than 5 of the top 10 and I think he would beat Alvarez on a level field, but I gotta think he's going to chase the money and cash in on being Alvarez come back fight.
And ZERO chance he wins a decision in the US.

    That said....
Kinda tough to become #1p4p when he'll fall out of #3 when he's robbed vs Alvarez

Oh for sure,Crawford beat who were put in front of him and looked great doing it which is why he’s rated no1 PFP.
Golovkin on the other hand before guys like Jacobs n Canelo started to face him had a very similar scenario in that the division was pretty weak and he basically beat em all so easy.
More than anything this is why I’d love to see him get that belt off Saunders but it just doesn’t seem like a priority at the mo as this could end up a trilogy even.
