Not really. Just continually saying "clay" "clay" "clay", isn't exactly ownage. He basically took Terrell and Patterson's line, and just kept saying it.

And he was pretty succesful with it. He merely needed to say 1 word to **** Ali off and having him not able to come back with something good in return. Efficiency at its best.

    *an :D

 Weird bump. Of course, Ringo took it all back after the fight and told Ali he'd beat Frazier on camera, in the post-fight interview, as I recall. He's was quite humble. :yep

 Yep, that's it. I think Ali also remarked that Bonavena hit him "as hard as any man can hit". ...:think

I think the 'Chicken sound' Oscar made was,,,,

    'You Chicken,,,,,,,,,Beep Beep'

The press conference was pretty good though,,,,,,,

I scored it 10-9 for Oscar,,,,,,,,,,,He was busier, funnier, and had more scoring phrases!!!!

and it wasn't him being nice/polite , just honest . Frazier couldn't beat Bonavena and Ali beat him better than any1 else . But that was d expected thing due 2 size considerations . But then it's 1 of d fewest times that Ali managed 2do d expected . And even in this case imagine what Foreman would have done if he was in place of Ali .

Yes, and refreshing honesty from Ringo..usually fighters pull this bull**** that the guy who didn't beat them badly, i.e., the guy who they looked good against is better than the guy who owned them. "The guy who just staggered me is a harder hitter than the guy wgo decked me..who put me on my ass",..that sort of ****, like Norton calling Ali "stronger" than Foreman...at least Ringo was tellin it as it was about Ali..saying that Frazier "no ween you"........of couse, we know that Oscar was full of **** about that FOTC, cause Frazier did indeed "ween" Ali.

    Red C,

Correct on Oscar,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Could be regarded as one of the more honest guys.

Always in good shape, never gave an excuse, always put in a good day's work.

Wasn't afraid to take on anyone, anywhere and at any time.

I like how he challenges Ali to hit him right there and then:

"OK, go 'head....go 'head....you poonch (punch) me NOW..."

I'll take Ringo in a street brawl.
