    The 58 year old ex-WBA Heavyweight Champion James 'Bonecrusher' Smith is planning a 2012 comeback, if he can get an immediate title shot at Povetkin. Despite losing his WBA belt 24 years ago to then WBC beltholder Mike Tyson, Smith is confident he can regain his former glory. As he puts it "The last thing to go in a puncher is his punch and i still hit like a Mack Truck. I saw Povetkin rocked to his core by Ruslan Chagaev, who is a light hitter by any measure. All i must do is land one big right and it will be over". Critics have stated Smith is far too old to fight again and risks his longterm health, but he uses Holyfield to defend his decision to return "Look at Evander Holyfield, he is 49 years old, that is only 9 years younger than me, and he is fighting Povetkin for his title. The main difference between me and Evander is not age, it is power. I have the power to take the title."

    Povetkin is on a roll!!!!

    First Holyfield! Than Bonecrusher! Who necks? Who necks? Tony Tucker? Mike Tyson? Ken Norton? Joe Frazier? Foreman? The Greatest Ali himself? The possibilites are endless.

    Povetkin Hall of Fame! A true G! Also an African American born of white parents.

    This would be a regrettable, fluke of a black eye for the sport of boxing...a sad sideshow of an event akin to today's Carlos Palomino making a comeback vs a JMM, nevermind a Pacquiao.

    Its a shame that Floyd Patterson died a few years ago.. Would have been a great comeback fight.

    He's having a laugh at Povetkin's expense. If Holyfield gets a title shot, you might as well dig up all the other old timers to face Povetkin. I'm sure they wouldn't mind the paycheck.

    This is probably a sensible explanation.

    Why r u underestimating Evander ? Valuev tried his best 2 KO him , but couldn't . Only Bowe & Phatass could KO Efvander . Valuev > Povetkin , and Holyfield mustn't be counted out .

    I know Andrew Golota is planning a comeback soon, so there's another big name "title defense" for "champion" Povetkin! :D

    People forget Wladimir's legendary courage of taking on a challenger like Jean Marc Mormeck

    :lol::lol:

    Ok i admit, Povetkin fighting beyond shot-to-**** Holyfield is no worse than Wlad fighting Shot Mormeck. In fact, i'm more against Wlad defending against Mormeck, because that is a joke defense of his 3 real unified alphabet titles, whereas Povetkin is just defending a polystyrene kids toy belt, of equal value to those plastic WWE belts you see in toy shops worldwide.
