It's a disgraceful way to act, I can't even stand to hear these brainless ****s boo the fighter I'm supportings opponent during his ring walk. You hear these dicks do it all the time and most of the time they don't even know the guy they're booing. Am I right in thinking there was a bit of booing going on during Juan Lazcanos' entrance at the Hatton fight on Saturday? Why?
I could never condone the booing of a national anthem. Many of the Hatton fans are football hooligans, many of the riff-raff have been issued banning orders for England games so need to find alternative sporting events to get their kicks. But why spend a **** load going to Vegas! To be fair, the booing wasn't that bad until the singer (Tyrese was it?) decided to take forever, whilst Tom Jones couldn't wait to get out of the ring - in my opinion he was shocking.
Its unneccesary, but I think some people get way too sensitive about it Maybe its just here, anthems don't mean **** :huh
going to someone else's country and murdering the national anthem is a disgrace and 99% of the people in the uk were mortified. its wrong to blame it on hatton and his supporters though, hatton was pissed off about it . it only takes a few bell ends to ruin it anything the people who booed were lucky they were in america, in most other countries they'd have been lynched.
England football fans are generally wankers. They are not genuine football fans, merely hooligans smacked upto their tits on coke. It amazes me how you can go to watch one football match and get your head kicked in, yet go to 300-odd rugby games (as I have) and never have so much as one dick head kicking off. Plenty of banter (often booze fueled) but all in the right spirit for the amusement of all.
I thought you said the booing of national anthems hasn't anything to do with Hattons fans also being soccer fans.
I dunno about that, bring Mayweather to wembley and they'll be all sorts of fans there, as many Londoners as there are Mancs. The anthem would be boo'ed again if you ask me....i am not saying its right, but i wouldn't put money against that happening. Its more to do with Mayweather tbh, but it is still very wrong. When say Tyson comes over, his treated like a King. Its more to do with the actual sports person itself and that is unfortunately reciprocated in the booing of the anthem. Some sports stars are loved ala Tiger Woods, some aren't ala Mayweather. But throughtout the singing of the anthem everyone should shut up. But this will be neither the first or last time booing happens, tho its strange ppl are still talking about it.
but the point im making is the US anthem wasnt bood last night, and the reason the US are so shocked by it is because they dont play global sports.
Friendly, against no mark opposition, during close season. Watch what happens at ANY England game which matters.
