LOL! I feel the same exact way about soccer (Football) Rugby etc, etc I've made every attempt to actually enjoy myself but can't stand watching or playing ethier. Yet another subject focused on preference.
Well to be fair the fight took place in Manchester City's stadium and England's first sport is football. Its not a massive leap of faith to believe that a lot of Hatton's fans are football fans too. My problem is this... What the **** does that have to do with anything?
I suppose it is, but could you explain why they feel the need to have 300 players on each team, and the game to last all day?? To be fair, football isn't really my game, I like it but prefer both codes of rugby.
The fact that the booing of national anthems originates from the soccer fans at Hatton fights rather than true boxing fans. When Benn and Eubank fought, there wasn't masses of fans wearing West Ham or Brighton jerseys.
Fair enough if the only issue over football fans at Hatton fights is the booing of the anthem then yes its a point for debate. But I detect undertones of 'because they follow football they dont know about boxing therefore hatton must be ****'. I'm a football fan, I'm a boxing fan too. Dont think that's particularly controversial.
Hmmm (American football) rosters hold about 45 players eleven of which enter the field the rest are reserves, baseball about 25 and basketball 12-14 players.....where did you get 300?
there is no such recognize sport that has 300 players in one team:nut , you're not talking about spartans are you?:rofl
BOO the fighter BOO his ringwalk BOO him when he get's in the ring BOO him while he is getting introduced but there is no need to BOO his national anthem. Anything less is uncivilized.
It's just a song. Who gives a ****? The tune for the US National Anthem is stolen from an old English song anyway ("To Anacreon in Heaven"). If the English want to boo an English song, what's the big deal? :deal
The welsh Cardiff fans were booing their own national anthem at the F.A. Cup final...whats all that about. England teams, boxers etc...do need to stop playing God save the Queen though. It's the British national anthem not an English one.
