$200 is absurd price. Here it's selling for $11 on amazon. Must be second edition.

The more i watch this fight, the more ****ed off i get. Tyson's performance that night was utterly disgraceful. I get even more ****ed off at Shelly Finkel and Tyson's trainers, corners for even allowing this match to go ahead in that time frame.

Tyson was horribly unprepared. Age, loss of skills/reflexes was one thing but the least you can do is to atleast train, condition yourself to go for 12 rounds and to give some respect to your opponent and do your home work on him.

Every layman knew Lewis was a very skilled boxer who could clinch, jab, throw right hands, upper cuts and move around the ring. A lucky punch tactic against such a fighter was disasterous and Lewis knowing Tyson's power was not going to give him such a luxury.

I must say i think Tyson vs Lewis in 1996 would have been a more entertaining fight. I think Tyson in 1996 should have fought Lewis and not ducked him, his performance would have been much better compared to 2002.

Tyson and King ducked Lewis in the 90s, even paid him millions in step aside money with the promise Tyson would fight Lewis AFTER Seldon. Of course, Tyson and King reneged on that promise and vacated the WBC belt to duck Lewis. Lewis won the vacant WBC belt vs. McCall in 97. Tyson and King didn't want any part of Lewis. Finally Tyson was forced into the fight in 2002, when Showtime saw bad TV ratings for the Tyson Nielson fight.

Lewis did not have to accept step-a-side-money. He could have said, NO and went and fought for the title and a guaranteed purse of $14 million... But Lewis never fancied his chances against that version of Tyson, So he waited another 7yrs until Tyson had completely self-destructed

Tyson never ducked Lewis, he dropped the belt to fight Holyfield for more money.

He got $35m for fighting Holyfield, one of the highest paydays of the time.

Accusing Tyson of ducking Lewis to fight Holyfield is like accusing Mayweather of ducking Amir Khan to fight Pacqiauo.

Tyson paid Lewis the $4m step aside with the promise he would fight Lewis in the very next fight after Seldon. Lewis felt it was a smart decision, take the $4m and fight Tyson next. But Tyson reneged and gave up the WBC belt.

If Lewis didn't take the step aside and demanded to fight Tyson first, Tyson and King surely would have just vacated the belt to duck Lewis. No doubt. King and Tyson were not going to risk their revenue stream by losing the title to Lewis, whom King did not control. King wanted to stay in control of the belts and Tyson followed King's moves.

    Good and interesting read :good

I always heard that Lennox liked to sleep before big bouts. I heard that he had to be woken up before the Razor Ruddock fight......By Razor's brother no less !

And as way over the hill Tyson was for the Lewis bout,he had declined even further by the time he fought Danny.

Can't imagine how anyone could be so relaxed to sleep before a big fight. But Lewis was one cool brother.

This book has tons of insider anecdotes about Lewis and Tyson, from so many different perspectives.

Tyson was a shell of his once great self even after the loss to Buster. I think the decline even started as far back as the Robin Givens/Ruth Roper fiasco marriage. Tyson declined considerably from the early 90s but he still presented danger to Lennox who was too smart and too good to mentally crumble under the enormous pressure.

Another cool insight was Muhammad Ali's reactions watching Lewis vs. Tyson on PPV by Leroy Neiman who was sitting next to him. Tons of cool info like that.
