As the title suggests really. After any book recommendations, autobiographies or anything Boxing related. Thanks!
Bunce's Big Fat Short History of British Boxing by (obviously) Steve Bunce. Details a lot of hitherto unheralded British fighters.
Read it and agree proper page turner, thanks. A few I’ll suggest too: Four Kings Unforgivable Blackness (Jack Johnson) The murder of Sonny Liston Warrior by Tris Dixon (Matthew Saad Muhammed)
Warrior, I'll be having a look at that, only a few decades in the making! Can't bring myself to read Damage (also by Tris Dixon) yet. But also recommended.
I’m exactly the same on Damage. Been thinking about it for ages and I’ve actually just ordered it but I’m a bit apprehensive about actually reading it. A bit like I’ve never watched Cowspiracy or Seaspiracy, (I think I know ignorance is bliss)!
Brilliant suggestion. Anything by Tris Dixon. Also Paddy and the Prince is a good read. Can't remember the author but he's a psychologist.
The Lost Soul of Eamonn Magee Fighter (Andy Lee) Tris Dixon's Road to Nowhere Journeymen (details the careers of the likes of Robin Deakin, Kristian Laight, Tony Booth etc).
