I've been re- reading , " Ringside A Treasury Of Boxing Reportage,"by Budd Shulberg with a foreword by Hugh McIlvanney.It's really excellent. Despite what one or two posters on here seem to think ,Shulberg was really steeped in boxing and close friends with many fighters.He went way back ,stayed at Mike Jacobs country home and was around lots of champs including Torres,Ali,Corrales,and Soose. This would be a fine addition to anyone's boxing library.Highly recommended!
