I will be sure to pick up a copy. If its any thing like the book you wrote, "Sam Langford - Boxing's Greatest Uncrowned Champion" it has to be GREAT!

I beleive there is another coming out soon ,written by Klompton ,on here ,strange that after all these years with just Fair's book, now there are two additions to read.

Biologists call this the "competative exclusion principle"

I think boxings eco-system is diverse enough to support more than one species of author/historian I just dont think that much of the book. If there can be four or five books on Braddock, two on Conn, two Burley, a handful on Darcy, several on Dempsey etc etc then there is plenty of room for at least one more on Greb ;)

There is room if it breaks new ground. I respect every effort as I know how hard it is and what a long shot to make any money on it ... however, 252 pages seems short on a guy that had 300 fights .. while I'm sure there is good info simply the page total tells me it has to be thin if you are looking for significant detailed accounts of this man's amazing career ... Clay's terrific book on Langford had over 400 pages and left me wanting more ...

He told me he is editing it ... I really look forward to it as I really like the format he has finessed ... I have read and reread his first three many times ...

The only one i've re-read was Corbett, which I love.

Jeffries is the one i've been looking forward to.
