Even though i want GGG to win and i think he should be considered the big favorite, i was surprised to find out how big of an underdog Murray is in the eyes of bookmakers. You can find odds of 11 and even 13 for murray to win. i think that is insane.. FFS, Christian Hammner is given better odds to beat Fury. How the hell is this the hardest fight of your career and there are these huge odds?
hard to find people to bet against a guy mowing everyone down with ease (except for Ouma) in 18 straight knockouts.
I agree odds are crazy against Murray, but i am betting man and i have watched zillion fights and i will not bet against Golovkin in this fight. but if you have spare money just throw £100 on Murray
This is a good competitive fight in my opinion. I do expect GGG to win but if he does it easily and early then I'll genuinely be shocked. Murray isn't a walkover, he comes to fight.
Golovkin has done a good job putting away fighters who've been a thorn in his contemporaries side I thought Murray lost to Sturm and only really came out of his shell after Martinez got hurt
Hammer at least has a punchers chance. Murray doesn't have one and Golovkin's chin is pretty damn good. He doesn't have the workrate to outpoint him that way so he needs to find something special. I'm not surprised in the least about the odds.
Sometimes odds dont mean ****, all it takes is one punch (lucky or not) to change the outcome of a fight. In some cases the underdogs feel like they have more to prove than the other guy thus giving them all the determination and focus they need to accomplish their goal (W)......I truly like this fight, it will be an interesting fight. Like someone already said Murray always comes to fight....
The odds reflect GGGs dominance over similar competition. Not to say that Murray isn't one of the better fighters at the weight because he is.
I think this fight will be the one that shows a ***** in Golovkin's armor. I think Murray might avoid well, and score more often than we think. Right now the bookies don't have any way to imagine this guy losing. From the tests we've seen, he is looking like the most complete fighter in the game against a guy that does not do one remarkable thing (but does everything well).
In fairness Fury seems a lot more beatable than Golovkin. And Hammer is on a good run, #11 rated Heavyweight by Boxrec.
I learned my lesson with Abner Mares putting all my money on the favorite. You don't get much back unless you bet a ton, and if he loses, you lose everything. I think Murray will take Golovkin past 9 rounds, though, but I sure as **** don't see him winning.
It will be very competitive fight, not easy as most people think, anyway I want ggg to win and hoping for a good fight
