'Boom Boom' Tommy Coyle has a new fan.

Oh For Fack sake ,, How can anyone give Coyle credit for that win , its well known Kasidas is shot to peices , , never had much brain in the first place and what he had was knocked out of him a few years ago .

He should never be in the ring with ANYONE never mind a top level british boxer , The only thing this fight shown is that Coyles camp lack faith in him so much they bring guys like Kasidas in to fight , he would'nt off come cheap , theres expensive plane fares to pay ,,,

Did he come with a trainer or just get some local bucket carrier to do his corner for zilch , after all he split from his trainer Brendon who's known him since he's a kid , with Brendon reportadly saying he wants nothing to do with Mick fighting.

The fight was a disgrace , and anyone who knows boxing knew it .

So don't go throwing big Bouquets Coyles way , because he only done what any half decent ameteur would of done anyway .

 

The only reason this fight happened is if you look at Coyles record his 20-2 without a real sufficient win or name on his record. Wen he stepped up matthews( tho was outboxed but) ko'd him. All his wins are against journeymen. Coyle being fed to campbell and down the line it will b o coyle must b good he beat katisdis.

 

The worrying thing for tommy imo is when stepped up against Derry Mathews he failed ,Even more worrying is Derry now shouting from the rooftops hes the best lightweight in the country and deserves a world title shot :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:roflatsch

 

Genetics. Go watch Katsidis' last 3 fights and come back and tell him he isn't shot. If the Coyle fight is all you've seen of Katsidis recently you really shouldn't be commenting. But to fill you in, bad brain scans and dropping a decision to Albert Mensah mean that isn't the Katsidis that whacked out Mitchell. He would've walked through Graham Earl a few years back as well, especially a Graham Earl coming off a FIVE year lay off.

 

Age is just a number age doesnt defy wether your shor or not people just dont get it!

Brain test, hand speed, foot speed, timing, balance is all evidence of being shot and Katsidis was most definatly SHOT TO PEICES

nothing was there at all no sting in any punches balance gone footworks slow plodding he was a sitting target there to be hit.

It was a nice punch by coyle but not many fighters would have left themselves open in that position square on to take that punch thats the difference

 

It's all hypothetical isn't it. Would a prime Katz be able to take that punch or was it that good? Any sane person can't dispute that punch hit the button and at force. He is past his prime no doubt but getting hit like that would KO the majority of boxers.

But what was worrying is the way he looked terrible afterwards and him having suspected brain damage adds to the worry.

 

Jeezuz he failed the Brain scan 2 years ago , how he got passed for this fight is beyond belief , He should never off been in the ring ,

But i know one thing they need to be careful with Coyle because has shot has Mick is and believe me he is shot , he still hit Coyle , often enough that i would say if Coyle was in with the kasidas of old, Mick would off been putting him away . The Mick who fought Mitchel and others hit a lot harder and faster .

 

I for one are giving Coyle credit, Katsidis wasn't the one from old everyone knows that, whether he should fight or not only the british board who licensed can answer that but dont begrudge any fighter credit for a win.

Any fighter or trainer on this board knows the toughness of a camp, the sacrifices etc.. They deserve all the credit entitled to them.
