Even if that does happen they'll definitely get him out this year. No way BT and Frank don't get him a fight and he'll want to fight too.

Now it won't be the fight we want (Usyk or AJ) but he'll fight none the less.

Until they fight it's just opinion. It's not unlikely for Wilder to knock him out.

Zhang has to fight Joyce. Fury thinks Ruiz wants too much. Wilder is focused on other opponents (Joshua and possibly Usyk). Joshua is focused on the Saudi payday at the end of the year.

Unless he fights his "buddy" Joseph Parker, seems like his choices are dwindling. That may be why he's going to attend Parker's next fight.

The "I need more time to work with my new trainer" line apparently won't cut it.

Let's see how the purse bids go on May 25. The minimum bid is $1 million. Someone is going to have to bid because Don King can offer that much. ;)

The WBA is going through the motions. But Warren was saying this fight Usyk-Dubois wouldn't make money and he wasn't interested in promoting it. And Usyk's promoters were in Poland trying to get someone there to put up money, because apparently, Usyk's team wasn't interested in losing cash on it. And Dubois supposedly has the bad knee and now he's dumped his trainer.

The WBA sucks for making Dubois a mandatory. But if Wilder ends up fighting Usyk for three of the alphabet belts and the Ring strap, I'll give them a pass this time.

    :bananaride

It would certainly make this year's boxing calendar more exciting. And Wilder-Joshua in Saudi for all those belts in December would put a nice cap on 2023.

Hope it all shakes out. Seems like the momentum is going in that direction.

Usyk is a big draw, he generates countless PPVs, so won't be hard for his team to arrange and promote the fight and win good money from it.

You say that after neither boxer's promoter expressed interested in putting up the money themselves to promote the fight ... and they spent the negotiating period trying to find someone else to bankroll it.

    We'll see soon enough.

Usyk would completely neuter Wilder's offense and embarrass him. Deontay will be looking for a way out after about 8 rounds of being humiliated. He will look so out of place, like he doesn't belong in the same ring.

Until Wilder's straight right hand lands ... which is the most effective punch against an aggressive southpaw ... and then all Usyk's work will be for naught. :)

Irony - some Usyk *sswashers claim he's a very big draw. Now they're afraid of even mentioning the development of his Dubois fight. :D Even the top gnome spravedlivylev who trolls out only to praise Usyk or bash Fury (which is 95% of his posts) doesn't dare to say a word about it.

The WBA should've sorted this crap earlier instead of grinding their HW scene to a halt. Dubois' team should've stepped aside if he's injured and given him time to get healthy, his team looks a mess now.

Maybe Usyk can still salvage this year by fighting Wilder & Fury in the winter. No 100% guarantee he gets past Wilder or that McDuck will want to fight. Most likely outcome is Usyk fighting only Dubois this year and Fury going for AJ.

I really wanted to see Fury vs Usyk, but I can definitely get excited for Usyk vs Wilder.

Because we all know that telegraphed looping right hands are Usyk's weakness lol.
