Baysangurov is continuing to pressure and now getting hit with the jab less on the way in, having apparently remembered that head movement exists. Baysangurov is swaying clear of the Pitto up-jab delivered from a crouch and descending upon him with plunging straight combos. Baysangurov is clapping the side of Pitto's head with the solo right hand from outside, then stepping in and working uppercuts on the ribs and lower chin. Pitto ducks low and takes a coating of jabs all over his coiffure, answering back with a couple of heavy left & right hooks on the belt line to fend Baysangurov off momentarily.

Round 4

Baysangurov is now being pushed back into the ropes for a change, Pitto coming at him with some herky-jerky pressure in a loose-armed gorilla stance with lots of leans to either side and delivering punches from unconventional low angles. Pitto is opening up with body salvos after pinning Baysangurov on the ropes or in a corner with quick jabs, his own diaphragm serving as the aircraft carrier warship, cradling the glove on the lip of his trunks and protecting his chin with the right fist while stepping in with erratic zigzags. Baysangurov is countering where he can with straight rights but mostly just skimming the left ear of Pitto and forced to retreat. A couple of left hooks on the body score for Baysangurov in the middle of the ring but he can't fight going backwards and is paralyzed when set against the ropes.

Round 5

Baysangurov is getting harangued with jabs on the nose and then unpredictable overhands launched from either hip of Pitto and landing at random trajectories, causing him to look more than a little alarmed, willingly ceding ground to Pitto. Baysangurov is again threading in some nice body hooks but can't fortify any position in the ring for more than a couple of seconds before Pitto forces him to abandon it with jabs and now a very effective right uppercut exploding forward & upward from a crouch. Pitto utilizing that uppercut repeatedly and giving Baysangurov a late scare.

This is the best I think I've ever seen the Argentinian-Cataluñense look.

 

Round 6

Baysangurov is patiently hanging back, standing up tall, cricking his neck & using head movement to slip the jab and countering with rights. Pitto is sashaying in and out, body cheated rightward and folded in with his left shoulder popped up to shield himself, lobbing up jabs & rights before receding with the low tide. Baysangurov is picking off most of the rights but still getting a majority of Pitto's jabs stuffed down his maw, yet he is now able to consistently hand Pitto a receipt, landing hefty left hooks on the stomach and rib cage.

Oh man, we have another entire half of this, awesome (unless somebody gets kayoed or is unable to continue due to cuts; both real possibilities at this pace)

 

Round 7

Pitto is letting the jabs fly, bouncing them off Baysangurov's nose and coming up just short with firework rights splashing against the upraised left forearm. Baysangurov is reaching with those left hooks downstairs. One strays pretty low and Pitto is grimacing, and given a moment by the ref. Time in, after quite a short respite. Pitto is less effective now, falling short with the jab and not able to close the distance as quickly anymore. Consequently there is time for Baysangurov to get off multiple body shots at once and push down on Pitto's nape to keep him still for an extra moment, allowing more body hooks.
