Baysangurov is slipping more than half of Pitto's jabs now walking in, banging his parietal lobe with right hands. Baysangurov is cutting in and out pretty much undeterred, able to intercept Pitto's jabs on his right palm, doing a little catch & shoot, and sprinkling light jabs all over Pitto's skull while circling at medium-close range. Pitto is taking wide sloppy lunges at the body with his right, falling in while bent over facing down and tying up.

Round 9

Baysangurov is jabbing down at the face of Pitto, catching him even as he bounces around changing altitude. Baysangurov is pelting the body of Pitto with hooks and crunching his teeth with a short right hand. Baysangurov is landing the cleaner harder shots but Pitto has dug down deep and found a second wind, throwing a HUGE volume of pit-pat shots. Most of them are missing but he's able to get some leather on Baysangurov even when backed up against the ropes and keep him honest.

Round 10

Baysangurov is taking a few counterclockwise steps, then dropping anchor to steeple his arms, screening out Pitto's jabs and then hyper-extending his left arm while leaning/reaching forward to plant a left hook on Pitto's liver. Baysangurov is wrestling off Pitto's attempts to clinch & smother. Wild uppercuts from a crouch by Pitto to get free of the ropes, and then a galloping sidelong attack pumping the jab. Messy round, lots of incidental contact, rabbit & spleen punches.

Very, and their styles are meshing in a very aesthetically pleasing manner, for the most part. Even with a smattering of clinches & fouls this has been a joy to watch.

 

Round 11

Baysangurov is dancing around the rapidly tiring Pitto and working like a side-of-the-highway chain gang convict with a trash-picker. Pitto just cannot get close, unable to even grab Baysangurov into a clinch anymore, lunging from too far out with overhands. Baysangurov is playing it very safe, on his bike, guard up, feet scurrying nonstop and working the jab.

Round 12

Baysangurov is feeling bolder, standing directly in front of Pitto and trolling him with a light double jab on the forehead before spiraling past him, taking advantage of his fresher and faster legs. Pitto is twisting at the waist, torquing out massive left hooks up top springing to full height but missing as Baysangurov ducks/leans to safety and peppers him with jabs. Baysangurov continues to catch hooks on his inner forearm, countering with straight body shots. Pitto is able to sneak in a few uppercuts with a late rally but not enough to steal it.
