it was obvious his hands were troubling him early in the fight, I still had him winning at the time De Leon landed that big shot. I doubt he's have landed it has Bautista been able to hold his hands up properly.
I don't put any hate on Boom Boom, what was he going to say? "I almost crapped my pants because I realized if I didn't fight win, my town wasn't going to get their paved road because the guy in charge is a corrupt buttmunch?" The dude was likely going to get KO'd anyways, but the kid was too nervous. Most young fighters in that situation will just say things because they're still in denial- I doubt the loss has truly even set in for him at this point yet.
He could have just said Ponce beat him to the punch, since he was indeed beaten to it. My point is, that excuse was very childish, really. It was even made funnier because we know he was knocked out right in the 1st round! Boom Boom, inspite of his suspect chin, which is the major concern you can possibly throw at him at this point IMO, hopefully recovers from this setback. He is young and will just keep learning.

When did he said that? because right afterb the fight he was very respectfull and honest. Don't remember exactly what he said but it was someting like: ''(maybe?) I am not ready for the big guys and ponce hit very hard) maybe the int. is still on fightnews... peace
i agree. those excuses are BS except the pac headbutt excuse. :nono that was clear headbutt man. watch it many times and you'll know what im talkin about. that cut is a result of a headbutt.
