Great fight. Reminds me of Leonard/Duran 1. May the best man win. And Im more excited about this fight than the DLH farce.

i'm not convinced this fight will make it past the negotiation table, but anyway PBF makes Hatton look like an amateur wrestler over 12 rds of the worst beating ever created...

I'm also thinking that both camps will have too much ego to come to a financial agreement. However, I think Hatton's style, though ugly, will make for an interesting fight matched with Mayweather.

Hatton has a legitimate shot the more i think about it.Hatton's mentality reminds me of Frazier's in that he likes getting hit,he thrives on the thought of being in a slugfest.A fighter with such a mentality has to be considered a threat.Against Castillo he threw roughly seven jabs the whole fight. He will fight Mayweather and wont try and box Floyd the way DLH.If Zoo could'nt keep Hatton off i cant see Floyd's punches having too much of an impact. The fight depends on how fast and sucessful Hatton is able to move inside of Floyd. If he can deploy a sucessful strategy then he can fight on his terms.

I would also add this to the mix. Gene Fullmer, Jack Lemotta, and Carmon Basillio were the guys that gave Robinson the most problems and all of them were pressure fighters that broke guys down.

Fullmer, Lematta, Basillio, and Hatton anyone?

An accusation was made that Mayweather likes to talk himself out of big fights and make ridiculous demands - I countered it with his most recent fight where he made no demands and didn't get the lions share of the purse.

I know you're not the sharpest knife in the drawer (but you may be the biggest tool in the box) but try to keep up, there's a good chap :hi:

Because it was the biggest fight out there for him, pure and simple. I'm not suggesting fighters don't fight for money and money alone, I'm suggesting that accusing Mayweather of ducking fighters by using ridiculous demands is way off mark.

Again, try to keep up :hi:

Maybe Hatton will ask for ten times as much as he's ever made this time.

What will surprise all you is that Floyd will be just as big and ripped as Ricky come fight night if the Hatton's show they actually have a pair of balls and sign the dotted line.

Floyd will control the distance and absolutely cut Ricky to shreds from distance.

Hatton cuts pretty easily so I would say PBF by late TKO due to cuts.

not put forth the effort palease !! palease come correct when making statement .. OK Floyd offered Ricky thee chances to fight and 2 out of the three he and his team claimed they where not ready OK cool then the third he wanted 10. mill .. who know about that one no one was there but Rick still turned the fight down .
and as far Floyd being called Pretty that because of he defense that he got the name pretty .
In the amateur floyd D was said to be so tight that he would pretty much come out of his fights unmarked and his d was to be said to be a thing of Beauty so the word pretty describes his D not his face.

Now that you know the facts carry on with your hating and bashing you might even try picturing him KOed if that help  :good

It would be GREAT if this fight happens. I really hope Hatton doesn't run away and accepts PBF's challenge (like he did run away in 2005, fact).

    Make it happen!
