This guy thinks he is God the way he gets on. I've seen a few of his interviews with iFilm recently and he tries his best to be a smart ass, but he just comes across as a guy who takes himself far too serious. There are very few in boxing that I can think of that behave like this, but he must have convinced himself that he is the adonis of boxing. He point blank refused to do an interview the other week with iFilm's Kugan Cassius, then he refused Jeff Powell entry to a presser (apparently because Powell did a critical piece on Haymaker) and yesterday he hit the nuke button with James Helder from iFilm by turning him down for an interview with total smugness telling him that he 'wont be doing anymore interviews with those clowns' (Kugan & James from iFilm). Those guys at iFilm are a credit to British boxing, they are all over the country covering all of the pressers and build up, and do a really professional job, you would think he would be a bit more accommodating, and dare I say it, courteous. No wonder Berne Bonte cant be ****ed dealing with Booth anymore, he has a point.:good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mj81AgeEuW4
I thought that at the beginning, but have a look at the video iFilm put up yesterday, I added to my opening post.
Yeh I have seen it. Still think its just banter. If there was anything genuine about it, they wouldn't have shown the interview. Interesting the Dion Jumah is trained by Booth.
That doesn't seem too serious. Even the woman interviewing him for Ifilm plays along when he's taking the mick.
Wow, you cant get a more obvious wind up They just took it to another level once they seen how much love and views the earlier booth banter video's were getting.
If that's banter, them James don't mind standing with a camera in hand getting mugged off. Good luck to him if it is (a wind up), but it is boring now.
I remember being on a sports tour with my uni and there was some kid from Brighton Uni walking around with a megaphone thinking he was the big man, attention seeking trying to act all funny. He came up to one of his mates and to try and get everyone's attention he shouted out "who wants to see me suck this guys ****" My mate stood up and said "I do" Within 1 minute there was a crowd of 200 people standing around these guys shouting "SUCK HIS ****, SUCK HIS ****...." The guy on the Megaphone completely bottled it. 10 minutes later he was still debating whether to suck the guy off. Eventually he just put his tongue on the guys knob. People were quite rightfully disappointed. As the crown walked away, they guy on the megaphone turned towards where we were sitting and said "Just remember Brighton Uni have the most banter on the beach" One of my mates just got up, rugby tackled him to the ground, took his megaphone and blasted "You have no banter" and threw the megaphone in the sea. Just felt a need to tell that story!
