Still Rios' kind of fight at the start of the 3rd, Peterson is throwing some nice right hooks up close but Rios is still getting his uppercuts in as well as some looping hooks. Peterson isn't even attempting to try and establish his jab, he's just going to war with Rios. Great stuff!!! Peterson lands a nice combo and then Rios comes back with one of his own. Another Rios round.

29-28 Rios

 

Peterson shook with a right hook!!! He is getting hit with some clean shots, on wobbly legs but showing no defence and not clinching. Do something man, don't just take these punches!! Now he clinches. Peterson showed a good chin if nothing else. Rios is a relentless fighter but Peterson's stupidly fighting his fight. Rios is loving this I bet.

3-1 Rios

Peterson's trainer is well pissed off.

 

Peterson now on his tippy toes in the 5th, looking to land a quick combo and get out of there. Last minute and the movement's stopped which allows Rios to land some mean body shots followed by hooks up top. Peterson finds his feet again and throws a jab on the run but then gets inside again, lands two hooks to the body but Rios throws a counter left hook and PETERSON IS DOWN!!!!! He gets up on 8 as the bell goes. His trainer gives him the "you're blowing it!" treatment.

4-1 Rios

 

Peterson's trainer keeps asking for the jab but I think Rios isn't allowing him to throw it. The pitty patty jab and move tactics of Peterson aren't hurting Rios who keeps coming forward. Peterson lands a lowblow and Rios fights and throws a low shot of his own back lol but after another exchange Peterson lands another nasty looking lowblow and Rios takes a break. Ref gives him his last warning. Peterson lands another lowblow and has now lost a point, looks like two 10-8 rounds for Rios in a row. And another ****ing lowblow from Peterson!!! And another point!!! 10-7 round now, Peterson's thrown this away.

5-1 Rios plus a KD as well as two points off Peterson for low blows.
