    Jean-Marc Mormeck:

December 2009: defeated Vinny Maddalone by 8-round unanimous decision in Paris. Scorecards were 77-75, 79-75, and 79-73.

    In contrast,

    Tomasz Adamek:

December 2010: defeated Vinny Maddalone by 5th-round technical knockout in Newark.

This isn't an anti-Haye argument. It's more an anti-Mormeck argument.

And what I heard in the reports, it was a disgraceful mismatch that should have been stopped earlier.

    which fight?

I watched Adamek-Maddalone. The stoppage was perfectly fine. (His corner threw in the towel when Adamek was battering him and not long after Maddalone had got knocked down.)

In contrast old ass Evander Holyfield TKO Maddalone in 3 rounds

This is both an anti mormek AND adamek argument :good

Its a pointless fight,if he aint going to take serious fights he should be stripped of the title.

Haye will happily take on Mormeck (an old shot blown up Cruiser who he already went life and death with), in UK or according to Booth....is willing to go to France again.....but he can't go to Germany to face his mandatory challenger????

The WBA needs to enforce the Chagaev fight or Haye gets stripped. It's time to end his free ride.

You're a tool. Everyone knows Chisora is a tune up fight and then Wlad has Adamek lined up. Who has Haye lined up after Mormeck? Hollywood stunt doubles? Also, if you take the totality of Wlad's HW career, its clear he faces top comp with tune ups like Chisora once in a while. With Haye, his whole HW career is filled with bums and hasbeens.

Vinny was Mormeck's first fight at heavyweight.
Vinny was Adamek's 5th fight at heavyweight.

It took Adamek five rounds to dispatch of Maddalone.
44 year old Holyfield demolished Maddalone in 3 rounds, nearly 4 years earlier.

You forgot to mention Adamek is the busiest fighter in the HW division by far and this was merely a stay busy fight. He is now set to fight Wlad, after numerous attempts to fight Haye went unanswered. Adamek's resume far outflanks Mormecks or Haye's, based on both activity and overall quality of opponents. As far as the comparison of rounds, that's just stupid. Adamek dominated every single round and stopped Vinny, what more do you want?

Yes, Haye is a sorry excuse maker. Saddest part is his fans actually buy this bs. Watch them justify the Mormeck fight in a few days.

Moremeck makes perfect sense, Haye wants to set a record for the highest average weight of contenders, a record I think set by Marciano.

I can see it now, and if you all look at the WBA top 10....then it could well happen-

May J. M. Mormeck WBA current ranking 8.

    The hype behind the fight-
( Mormeck the former undisputed cruiser weight champion of the world, an undefeated heavyweight, the last man to seriously test David Haye, Mormeck a fighter who hasnt lost in 3 and half years come for revenage!)

Oct H. Rahman WBA current ranking 5.

(David takes on his deadliest assignment yet against a two time heavyweight champ, a man who knocked out what many say is the greatest heavyweight in history L. Lewis, can he now come back and become a 3 time championnn)

Haye retires as he pledged on his birthday... undefeated heavyweight champ!

And some say MMA is just a fad..
