Booth negotiating with Mormeck

To be honest; I want Haye to keep fighting, even if the Klitschko fights won't happen. These forums gets boring if he retires. Someone has to be the guy with a black hat.

 

Yes it is worse, and in many ways!
Remember when Wlad had Mormeck on his "shortlist"? The same shortlist Chisora was on, Mormeck was seen by most as the worst of that list and rightly so.
In my original post, I was so dissapointed I didn't even want to know about this "fight" if it went through. Even it it was a "keep busy" fight.
He's not a real heavyweight, and has shown that too with his "wins" over Oquendo and Ibragimov.
The man is 38, and is already KO'd by Bell (5 years ago) and later by Haye himself (3 years ago)! SERIOUSLY?!

It wasn't a few weeks ago, it was a couple of months ago (fall 2010) if I remember.

 

Valuev at 36 was the youngest among Haye's opponents at HW and has his toughest challenge so far. Since then David has upped the age requirement to a minimum of 38 y.o.a and rightfully so! What a twat!

I am hoping this is a hype job building up a showdown with Wlad in July, but if this is true, so be it.

I'd rather see Haye fighting old, undersized champs who come to fight, then fighting never hasbeens who take a dive.

If Haye fights Mormeck, and then Tarver, and then Holyfield before 2012, he'll have earned about 20 mil for those 3 fights, and be well to do for his retirement.

That is certainly smarter than fighting Wlad for 10 mil, losing, then only being able to make 1 mil for a fight. Even if he fought Vitali first, earning nearly the same, then was gifted with a shot vs Wlad, it still wouldnt earn him the kind of money he'll make with the strap on his waste.

Sometimes money overrides legacy. This is obviously the case with David Haye. I just wish he didn't lead us all tho believe he was coming in the division to make an impact. He made a bunch of noise, but his impact was marginal if any.

 

He has more than two fights left. His "retirement" is no different than Floyd's "retirement" after beating Hatton.

booth is being a dick,if he can choose the mandatory from the top 10,choose adamek,still not announced that he has signed and sealed klitscko fight yet.

Haye needs to get rid of mandatory and face vitali in july if that can get made right now.

or fight adamek/arreola as his chosen mandatory from the top rankings on wba listings.

anyone else is not good enough.

in future i only want him to fight:klitschkos,adamek,arreola,maybe povetkin,maybe chambers.
