Booth Says Haye Interested in Vitali-Solis Winner!

Yes it maybe is but it could sill happen after October this year.

Wlad would have one last shot at Haye before he retired, this is just hypothetical if Haye did beat Vitali, its a much tougher fight than Wlad would be.

 

So, can someone confirm this:

Haye could not fight Wlad, because the earliest that he could have a unification contract in his hand is May 1st. This is too late for the WBA to accept, and they would have insisted on him fighting his mandatory instead.

Haye can, however, fight Vitali. Having a signed unification contract in his hand by 20th of March will satisfy WBA and Haye would not have to fight his mandatory first.

Haye initially accepted July 2nd with Wlad. So that date is obviously fine by the WBA. It seems that the issue is about when he actually has a contract in his hand.

So, when does he actually need a signed unification contract in his hand to satisfy the WBA? He can have this 6 weeks earlier with Vitali than he can have with Wlad. Is this really an issue? Would the WBA strip Haye if he had a unification contract signed on May 1st but not if he had one on March 20th?

Just facts please, no speculation.

 

I've never heard this bit of information. I always thought the one and only problem was Wlad bringing up the Chisora fight at the last second and Haye declining because of that. I never heard of any unification issues.

 

Apparently the issue that arose was this:

Haye needs a signed contract for a unification fight. He would have this if he fought Wlad on July 2nd.
However, if Wlad has an intervening fight, then there is no guarantee that he will have the titles. This leaves Haye without a contract for a unification fight (although it is extremely likely to be a unification fight, it is not guaranteed).
No unification = have to fight mandatory.

I have been highly critical of Haye for backing out of the fight with Wlad. However, this point was raised, and I concede that it may be a fair reason for Haye to withdraw.

However, I am yet to find out if it is correct or not, and there are no details being offered. Now, given that he is trying to make a contract with Vitali, it raises even more questions.

I would like to know for sure.

 

Dr. Steelhammer or Dr. Ironfist should offer chagauv a fight after there coming bouts, just so one of the Doctors could be a mandatory after there victory over chaguev, an get that title away from that *****, even if they have to have it stripped from hayes, an that is my guess is how it will go down. No doubt hayes won't step into the ring.

Ah, thanks for this bit of info. I didn't really blame Haye too much. I felt it was both people's faults but at the point of hearing "Fight or no fight" because of Chisora I felt the need to blame Wlad more. Although I understood his reasons. We shall see but if this information is true it justifies Haye. Glad you see that too, as I know you're critical and sometimes a bit too harsh on Haye (At least in my view).

Wlad new Haye could not take the fight by accepting to fight chisora! He can say all he likes but if Haye accepted the fight he would of been stripped of his belts and imagine the deal he would of been offered then!

Wlad wanted the easy fight and did not want to fight Haye if he did he could of arrange another date with chisora for August/September then Adamek later and fought Haye instead! Wlad is so confident he will win it should of been a no brainer!

The only way Haye does not have to fight his manditory is by a unification fight! which would have to be both Wlad and Haye's next fight! Wlad decided to fight chisora meaning Haye had to options loose the belt of take a fight as it been 12 months since his last defence! The july 2nd date was not Haye or Wlads fault it was sky and rtl's problem! If haye still wanted to fight Wlad in july he would HAVE to fight his manditory in May which is the next date available with sky then fight Wlad in July! Which would be less than 7 weeks rest and to train! Which cannot be done!! Wlad knows this and still decided to fight chisora while making **** excuses saying he has unfinished business and here is the funny part CHISORA IS BETTER THAN HAYE ANYWAY:rofl

I dont understand how Wlad fans are so blind to this? they defend him through thick and thin! At no stage i have ever said Wlad was **** i think he is a good champion and i really wanted to see the fight! In 2009 there is arguement to say Haye ducked due to setanta going bust but not this time! Haye agreed every demand and Wlad still says no saying he cant trust him! That is it TRUST nothing else!
