That's great an all. But I think people would like to see some evidence. Not just over-capitalised assertions.

The evidence we all have is what come out of the two fighter mouths and we interprite it as much as we can and thats all we can do.

I just hope Haye is lying about retiring i would like him to fight Vital, Wlad and Adamek before he goes so i hope its just a stunt to get a fight hyped more with the buying public.

You do know that vitali is signed to fight solis, there is a date set for the end of march, so if hayes is correct about what the WBA is saying. Do you think hayes camp is unaware of vitalis fight in late march, an the klitschkos are just playing more mind games with hayes, do you think it might be wise of you to maybe email hayes, an tell him to check boxrec, cause vitali is already signed to fight, this no question, by your accounts put hayes in violation of his obligations with the WBA, if he does sign to fight vitali,,,,,,,,just athought, :bbb

Wish i could talk to him i would have a few harsh words he has pissed me off as much as wlad over this whole fight bollox. About 6 days ago the british board of controll declared Haye cannot his manditory. So i guess he could fight in July if Wlad wanted it ??? Or the wba may make him fight no2 i honestly dont know? Booth is all over the news asking for the winner either solis or vitali both could be interesting as solis upset Haye in the amatures

Haye should concentrate on his mandatory. Because if it's Povetkin, he might lose his title before he gets to his retirement pay off....

So.... Haye can have a signed contract for unification with Vitali anytime after the 19th of March. He would need it before 3rd of April, as that is the 12 month mark since he defended his WBA title officially. Which is why the Wlad fight is not possible, as Wlad could not provide a unification contract until 1st of May...

That's plausible. However, I have not heard anything from the Haye camp about that. The only statements I have seen have been about Wlad not possibly being able to fight 9 weeks after battling Chisora.

So right now, I think accepting that has to be a matter of faith. I'll wait for some evidence or confirmation before I personally accept it.

This is interesting you know, obviously haye wants the winner because it's the next biggest fight after haye wlad, but yeah anyways I think if vitali wins, and that is a very very big if, then the fight between him and haye is very competitive i'd say like 55/45 in haye's favour.

But even moreso it is interesting due to business reasons. Wlad chose not to fight haye due to lack of trust and not viewing it as a super fight etc. If haye beats vitali you can bet your bottom dollar he will make the fight with haye happen.

More than that from haye's side; his timetable is suddenly back up and running with a summer fight vs vitali and am autumn fight vs wlad.

All that looks wonderful for heavyweight boxing, but there are two obstacles here, derek and solis. If wlad looks past derek(or any heavyweight for that matter) he could get knocked out. If solis comes in shape, I think he will smash vitali.

The vitali vs haye fight could now be past it's sell by date. Vitali will have to look really good vs solis to convince people he is still close enough to his prime to make a haye fight worthwhile. But can he dominate solis? I would be hugely impressed if he did.

It is good to see haye calm down and look at the bigger picture also. He was rightly, imo, pissed at wlad, but that should never get in the way of a vitali fight.

As an aside, I don't think vitali will have any problems travelling to fight haye.

Wlad summed it up in an interview, vitali is a born fighter. He wants to fight haye and I don't think he'll let anything stop it happening other than wlad fighting haye.

Very good fight. It was the world amateur final. Haye started very well and nearly knocked solis out with one punch. Then solis regrouped and basically schooled haye till the ref stopped it because of points gap I think.

More than that tho this was the two best amateur heavyweights both young hungry and enthusiastic and in shape.

Solis is a tremendous fighter and I would not be surprised to see him be beat vitali. I think vitali has a mammoth task ahead of him.

That is how I understand it, however wlad claimed that haye could pay chagaev step aside money. So i'm not sure how that would work. I don't know the wba policy on mandatories stepping aside. Especially a year since the last one.

With the top 3 being incapacitated atm I think haye might sit out until vitali fights solis.

Why is it obvious? Haye could have approached Vitali about a fight immediately after the Wlad fight fell through as Vitali had no signed to fight then, but he didn't.
