I just wish they’d stop the games on both sides. I’m tired of millionaires arguing over relatively small amounts of money (note I said relative). The brothers and Haye’s recent fights have all been pitiful. Wlad’s next fight is atrocious. Both sides need to compromise. If Boente is sitting saying “We’ll only accept 50-50 on all revenue” and Booth’s saying “we’ll accept 50-50 on everything except domestic TV” maybe they can make a relative split of the TV cash. But I’m not a contract lawyer and, if this fight doesn’t get made, both sides can **** off.
Yeah i agree mate im getting tired with all this **** now. saying they will fight etc and not agreeing a 50/50 split. its a joke its all money, but hey ho. we are not going to change anything. I've tried sticking up for Haye but he is proving to be avoiding them. I mean if i was in Hayes position and i wanted to make a legacy of myself id sign the dotted line with vitali and just crack on with it! G
Remember the Klits have been trying to get a fight done with Sauerland for a WBA-Klitschko unification since 2007 back when Valuev was holding it. Then just like now Sauerland pounded the table that the fight *MUST* be shown on their contracted TV station, ARD. The fight never happened, just like now. And Sauerland is not unhappy about it as all they care about it not wanting to lose their grip on the WBA belt and so far they've been successfully milking it for $$$ against irrelevant opposition. This is nothing new, this Sauerland/WBA saga has been going on for many many years.
Nah. If Boente is sitting saying Well only accept 50-50 on all revenue, Haye should shut up and sign the contract.
I agree, just don't see why Boente's demands are the gold standard. And we know that K2 have a habit of agreeing terms then sending over contracts that are somewhat different.
I have thought for a long while he can beat both...:yep Wlad by KO as he plays into everything Haye needs to tee him off for the big guns and with Vitali it will be a cool, calm and collected fight strategy to get the points in the bag and box his way to victory...:yep I see the similar strategy to the Valuev fight, but getting some bigger shots off earlier...:yep I don't think either of these fights will be in the UK which is not good for the British fight fans...:-(
I think Haye has a chance of beating Vitali Klitschko right now, but i wouldn't count on it. Seriously, Haye's almost completely unproven, his defence is sloppy and he's got a really suspect chin. I wouldn't be surprised if both Klitschkos can KO him quite easily. Haye's best win at heavyweight is against a shot 38 year-old John Ruiz, for ****'s sakes. His performance against Valuev was pretty much on par with what a 46 year old Holyfield can do. Realistically, Haye will fight two or three washed-up second- and third-raters for "easy" paydays, and retire, blaming the Klitschko brothers for the fights not happening.
He wouldn't beat Wlad with a baseball bat - of that I am certain. Waving the hands about whilst not punching and running like he did against Valuev won't mean **** all, he'll be pinned down by that ramrod jab and will end up being stopped on his feet, exhausted after about seven rounds. If he really believed he could win he'd have fought him by now. As I've said before I give him a decent shout at beating Vitali, let's see if he believes in himself, or takes more easy paydays.
