Booth trying to mold Groves into another Haye?

I said this while watching it. ''Groves ain't Haye and Haye ain't Groves'' Two different guys with one trying to be someone he can't. He just doesn't have the explosive power or speed or reflexes to carry it off imo.

Gutcheck tonight he came through, he's tough kid but ragged and messy and i think he will lose sooner rather then later unless he understands he's not that guy!

Should of met Anderson in middle of ring and gave him angles and peppered Anderson in middle of ring. He backed to far up (Can't fight off ropes..not in his nature)

groves showed the heart of a lion, he has a great jab but doesnt use it enough

 

:rofl:rofl I know i loved watching him nodding to Haye. It was like a film. To be honest he entertained me so much for 8 weeks i can't complain to much...

 

this is exactily what i was thinking during the fight the punch technique, foot movement, the way they have there hands low all the same groves just doesnt have the reactions to fight like that i thought anderson had very slow hands and was still landing regularly

 

A lot of work to be done before he faces DeGale thats for sure.

 

Both matched hard at an early stage. Anderson is no Carl Thompson, but that will really stand to him, as it did for Haye IMO.
