'banned for life'?? ridiculous. let's stop all this pussifying for ****'s sake. at the end of the day they are fighters, who punch each other in the face. let's not make them out to be angels or men of character or role models. you don;t have to be a role model to box. FFS. in fact being a **** is definately not a disadvantage.

if anything, they should be fined a minimal fee, but that is all. this is boxing, not tiddly winks.

Exactly. i'm not condoning what happened outside the ring this weekend, but godamn, it's a bunch of boxers who want to hurt each other. That's their JOB! Enjoy the videotapes and let's move on to the next fights, if Boente the ***** can agree to something the fans want to see.

Actually, it says there that the German board of boxing are contacting their British counterparts about the ban - so it could be real serious. I think a lifetime ban is over the top, but I do think there needs to be some kind of action against the two clowns - and more than a slap on the wrist. Boxing is a sport, not a damn sideshow and there are limits to how you can behave in public.

good ban from germany means haye wont get robbed when he outboxes vitali should vitali be the boss and tell boente to shuv it and make the fight happen himself!

even if haye gets a temporary british ban im sure vitali would wana fight haye in america perhaps? or even in ukraine?

chisora didnt land punches, but he talked of attacking haye,he attacked both k bros, hes got history,he had more people with him than haye,he took his jacket off and started on haye, what was haye really going to do,stand around and let himself fall victim like the k bros or worse! ha ok right ye.

I would agree with this if the German Boxing Fed will also recieve life ban if a robbery takes place in that country.
Judges robberies are worse for the sport than what Haye did. MUCH WORSE.
They should first clean their own yard before looking into another.

The German Boxing Federation should be banned for life for the appalling security set-up they had in place for a post-fight press conference that always threatened to kick off. They are responsible for the brawl that took place.

Actually, of all I have read regard this incident this was by far the dumbets, and I am one of the more polite posters here on ESB.

Chisora declares he will assult Haye, and then it is Hayes job to keep out of the way? Thats allowing the worst scum to make the rules.

    Haye acted in selfdefence.

    With the tripod? Right.

Haye went overboard and lost control over himself. Probably drunk.

Who gives a ****? This thread is not about Hayes failure to live up the hype when he fought Wlad. It is about him acting in selfdefence against a condemned criminal.
