Prime Trinidad if talking now. Ennis may have the potential to be favoured in this match up in the future. Ennis hasn't fought anyone like Trinidad, and Trinidad beat fighters much better than anyone that Ennis has beaten.
I was a Tito fan but if I had to put money on it right now, it would be a really tough call but I would go with Boots.
Because Tito could be outboxed. It’s early to tell with Ennis, and I’m not a fan, but that’s why I asked myself who I would put my money on right now. Might be different a few years from now, I still feel the sting of the De laHoya fight.
Tito only had trouble with elite fighters, Boots has alot of talent but he hasn't had that marquee fight yet to see how good he really is. Gotta go with Tito here.
Tito KO's Ennis hes too hittable and likes to fight and trade punches that would be his downfall against a top 10 KO puncher at the weight in Tito.
ODLH fought passive and used his legs for the entire 12 rounds not daring to ever stand still and trade with Tito. Does that style really sound like Ennis to you ? Ennis likes to stay in the pocket and trade punches and has been hittable against B Class opposition. People say Tito struggled against boxers but hes the only fighter to beat Whitaker convincingly, yes Whitaker was past his prime but not totally shot either. Tito also beat other talented fast boxers like Reid, Carr, etc. And never lost in his prime until he moved up to Middleweight and fought Light Heavyweight sized Bernard Hopkins. Tito would KO Ennis.
Too early for questions like this.................. I will say that Boots has the correct style and frame to beat Tito. This needs to be backed up by elite wins in the ring though. Tito's record though, he deserves the benefit of the doubt for the time being here.
