Boots got outslicked by Karen. Benitez would outbox him all night with the only chance for Boots to win is with his power, and even that wouldn't be enough as Benitez survived a peak Thomas Hearns.
For Wilfred this is boots to asses — he kicks Ennis’ rear end and Bootsy Boy couldn’t hit him with a hand full of salt. Boots’ night is this: Miss, get countered, repeat.
The problem I have with these "Fantasy" matchups as that when we do them, we never take into consideration that one with against ATGs while the other has yet to prove himself at that level. Now...Boots is more talented, but at this poin,t I favor Benitez. That's no knock against Boots, but Wilfred would be undisputed at 140, 147, 154, and 160 in this era. No one from Shakur, Crawford, Ortiz, Spence, Porter, Haney, etc. would beat Benitez. None of them could handle that level of heat.
Boots need to beat at least a really good, dangerous fighter before you feed him to Benitez. Ennis had about 35 fights and still playing the angles. There's must be a reason he is protected to this extreme.
