I don't give a damn who it is. Your own promoter shouldn't be saying **** like that about you to the media. That is just pathetic. Only the Bobfather. Why do people sign with this old ****er? Seems counter productive to me.

If Nonito was an idiot in that fight, he had been an idiot for his previous 3 fights. Rigondeaux was simply better. Sluggers will never trouble reflexive counter punchers with that much discipline.

It's all a game. Rigonedeaux is probably demanding more money than Arum is willing to pay him and he's using foggy politics to justify lowballing this guy.

    He's going to get Pirog'd.

Old, foreign fighters aren't supposed to beat the house fighter. The powers that be do what they can to ensure that doesn't happen (just look at scorecards of Rigo-Donaire, Kotelnik-Alexander, and Pirog-Jacobs), and if it does, you'll pay a price in your career. Kotelnik got robbed and his career was blackballed for jeopardizing Bradley-Alexander. It was years before HBO wanted Pirog back.

The business of boxing is disgusting sometimes and I can't argue against the accusations that there's still too much shadiness in it.

If HBO is legitimately behind this and it's not just Arum spouting ****, I don't want to hear how Hershman represents a fundamentally different philosophy from Greenburg ever again.

Logically, money must have something to do with it if neither HBO nor Top Rank want to showcase the best p4p fighter in the world.

is obvious now and has been for ages, not rocket science but companies want to maximise their cash cows as much as possible, fighters who dont interest the general public like rigo will get shat on whilst loud mouth bums like tyson fury, audley harrison will get pay day after pay day untill they cant fight anymore.

Someone like mayweather has had to create this bad boy image to get those casual fans watching becuase as he says most that buy his ppv's want to see him lose because of the attitude he projects across on tv. If he was mild mannered didnt speak much and was just generally a nice guy he would be no where near as big as he is.

Unfortunatley the better "boxer" these days will earn alot less than a average fighter who talks alot of smack and throws alot of punches.

^ They are with Golden Boy. So they are not worth discussing.

    Mikey Garcia
^ Is at 126 and his next fight is for a 130 belt against Martinez. So that isn't happening.

    Moreno
^ Moving back down to 118 and going back to Panama for his next fight, scheduled for next month I believe.

    Agbeko
    ^ Hasn't fought at 122 since 2002. Over a decade.

Of your list, that leaves one man:

    Darchinyan
^ Everybody is bitching a storm for Donaire being linked to him. Why would it be impressive for Rigo?

There is nothing out there for Rigondeaux.

I was obviously pulling for Donaire hard in that fight. I threw a "fight party." Everybody was beyond bored out of their minds and whining at me the whole time. I felt shitty for having told people to come. It was a one hour break of the party with crickets. I myself was totally impressed with Rigo, obviously. I love pure boxers and want to see him in the biggest possible fight as soon as possible. Just telling the truth here.

Only question I have is what does Rigodeaux think about all this? Arum has expressed hid feelings about Rigondeaux in the past and he's never had anything favorable to say about him, so why did he sign him in the first place if he was such a hard sell? Maybe Rigondeaux reminds him of another fighter that got away from him years ago, and went on to become the highest paid athlete in sports without him, and he's taking it out on Rigondeaux.
