There is nothing out there for Rigondeaux.

I was obviously pulling for Donaire hard in that fight. I threw a "fight party." Everybody was beyond bored out of their minds and whining at me the whole time. I felt shitty for having told people to come. It was a one hour break of the party with crickets. I myself was totally impressed with Rigo, obviously. I love pure boxers and want to see him in the biggest possible fight as soon as possible. Just telling the truth here.[/QUOTE]

fights punch stats rigo 129 of 396 donaire 82 of 352:deal wasent rigo's fault that some people found it boring

That's ironic. Anytime Bob Arum is mentioned to anyone, they throw up.

Rigo is far, far from boring.

Arum is full of ****!!! HBO will put him back on with no problem. Rigo should've let Top Rank when he had the chance. Now hes gonna fight once every 9 months and milked by that snake Arum!!

oscar should offer to trade mares for rigo and we'll see if arum takes him up on it....after all, rigo is a better boxer and a higher ranked fighter.

I have a group of friends, but for boxing only boxing fans get invited. They can appreciate a technician.

MOST boxing viewers prefer aggressive KO fights. Not defensive poking, countering, and dodging your way to a decision. Even if it is a master performance of craft. HBO cares about ratings not which fighter YOU might happen to admire. Why is this even a discussion?

i can actually understand the sympathy that rigo gets from fans of other fighters that are also considered boring.

hate is too strong....it's just that he hasn't won me over as a fan because of his fighting style. i can believe what arum is saying and i can believe hbo "threw up" when rigo fight is proposed.

Perhaps if he had some more barnburners of the sort Donaire had against Narvaez, Mathebula, and Vazquez Jr he'd have won over the Nonito contingent.

there is obviously plenty...the only thing standing in the way is a promoter refusing to do his job....and a network trying to force feed us "stars."

i believe rigondeaux has a short period of time left on his contract with the devil. he should jump ship and go to the promoters and network who have a real appreciation of boxing.
