HBO and Bob Arum/Top Rank think Guillermo Rigondeaux is boring to watch, but they're force-feeding boxing fans Zou Shiming.

Something not quite right w/ this picture . . .

Arum is a dumbass, Rigo is way more exciting then Mayweather at 147 in my opinion, he actually gets knockouts.

So much sour grapes going on. :rofl

After the world celebrated KTFO6 you guys were ready to declare Donaire P4P #1 had he beat Rigo or Vic a second time. Donaire got cornered and had to fight a real challenge and got thoroughly embarrassed. I'd be mad too I guess, you were ready to declare the guy the best fighter in the world and instead he got horribly exposed and the crap beat out of him.

if you have better sense, you (american/european) know that you're not really their target audience.

Only reason Rigo was "boring" was because Donaire couldn't do jack **** in there against him. Rigo didn't have to do **** because Donaire had no answers.

Maybe if Donaire went for it all, it would have forced Rigo to change his gameplan. All I know is, Rigo did what he had to do which was out-box Donaire, and out-box him badly...

    Dear Bob!

Promoting is not equal taking the network/casino fee and staging shows around latino festivities. Of course HBO's ignoring Rigo, cause they are blind ratings hunting idiots, and YOU failed to build him into an attraction for network execs.

You think Romanian Lucian Bute sold 20.000 tickets outta his ass when it touched down in Canada? He was properly built up from scratch, so there wasn't the awkward situation of ppl. asking "who's that?" when the title changed hands. By the time Rigo busted Nonito's little eye up, he should've been better known to the public through more exposure and better fights, but there is still time to build on his spectacular schooling, only it may take concating Richard Schaefer, another area you, dear Bob, hasn't been shining in the past few years.

what you guys fail to understand is that rigo is not solely top rank.

i don't think tr is really going to put all of it's weight behind someone they don't have full control.

Yes, Arum and HBO are trying to 'open up' the Chinese boxing market instead of supporting a PROVEN fighter (Rigondeaux).

Nice idea, but to have Zou Shiming headline TV events--and to treat Rigondeaux like crap--well, I don't like it . . .
