Showtime has got HBO with their back to the wall. HBO is scared to have boring fights, they are in jeopardy of losing the battle to showtime.

If Donaire beat those bums, Rigo surely would. Rigo had to fight supposedly #3 P4P, FOTY, ... and SCHOOLED him. Donaire fought bums and he builds a contingency of fans? Doesn't quality mean anything anymore?

Donaire couldn't even fill half an arena in his own hometown...if you consider a headhunter like Nonito to be exciting, surely you must love Randall Bailey infinitely more!

Yes, but this is BAD business. Good for short-term, but not long-term . . . I guess where Arum's up there in age he doesn't really care because he really doesn't have much time left, and I'm crossing my fingers he doesn't (not wishing death on him, just that he gets out of the game).

Absolute master I agree, such a crafty and classy boxer.

But as a product that Arum has to sell to the public.

Rigo not only rarely engages, which makes him less exciting to casual fans, but he also doesn't speak english.
Floyd is a prime example of fans buying fights purely off his antics alone, not what he even does inside of the ring.

As a product that Arum has to sell to the casual fans, Rigo offers next to nothing.

Rigo has a lot to offer boxing purists who actually appreciate the science of boxing, but they are the minority and Arum is fully aware of that.
