BoP Arum "We gave Cotto 3 Options, Bradley, Rios or K9"

This Rios hype is getting beyond a joke. The reality is Rios was given a gift vs. Chaves and Bradley was robbed to only get a draw. Aside from that Bradley has had a much better career. Rios has only won a title at light weight he is probably a top 15 welter weight now but no way does he deserve a shot at the lineal middle weight title

 

Of course these would be his options. Nvm that GGG is available.

 

K9 is a very dangerous fight for Cotto and could easily cause an upset. Bradley will be dangerous if he can carry the size up but he may struggle at the weight. Rios will probably adjust to 160lbs well but I can't see him troubling Cotto.

 

Imagine the reaction had Al Haymond proposed these matchup.

Cotto has ducked nobody and I mean NOBODY!!! Took fights ppl told him not to take. like Pac at 145 and Trout. that said fight Pac at 147 and dont fight Trout but he could care less what these foolos say, Cotto gets down and does what he wants

 

Just goes to show how sht boxing is these days. If Rios were to beat Cotto, he would be the MW champ.

Cotto's not signed to TR so he's not limited to Arum's trashy ideas.

Worst case scenario, he ought to rematch Trout and attempt to validate his perceived improvements under Roach against a man who defeated him.

Best case, he ought to fight Triple G. Roach seems confident in that potential matchup.

 

K9 is a good stay busy fight...still sells out the garden. Throw it on reg HBO. warm people up for canelo.

Bradley was lucky he was allowed to even finish the Chaves fight. When the fight was over, he was looking more like vegetable than a boxer while Chaves was without a scratch.
