    John Ruiz, in his heyday, was the epitome of this.

    Yeah, these guys are high action fighters but the problem I have with them is that I know they will throw 1000 punches and never knock a guy out, I can watch it for a few rounds but not for 12. It's like a Punk song, it's good for 1-2 minutes but after that it grates on your nerves.

    Might be an unpopular choice but i find Ricky Hattons left hook hug and hold routine absolutley **** boring to tears. Hatton vs Urango is a prime example and completly unwatchable.

    Other notable mentions....winky wright=techincally exellent but boring
    wladimir K= again technically sound but boring
    Ruiz= **** boring

    Floyd, boring?

    I thuroughly enjoy ever moment of dominance he displays.

    Andre Dirrell has grown on me after the Froch farce, so I wouldn't consider him boring either.

    Ward is boring as hell, but he is efficient so I can't knock on him for doing his job. Same goes with someone like Ruiz who is a constant over-achiever, probably the biggest over-achiever in heavyweight history.

    Well, some people enjoy watching technicians. I often feel that Wlad is too cautious, but I seldom find him boring. He's much too good at what he does to be boring. Ruiz and Valuev, on the other hand, were talentless goofballs who were also cautious for most of their careers.

    Hopkins is boring, but he can be entertaining occassionally, that flurry against Pavlik was a thing of beauty.

    Dirrell gets on his bicycle and doesn't know when to get off.

    Ruiz was hold,hold, punch, hold, I still can't figure out how this guy got a belt.

    For some reason, I just don't thing Ward or Mayweather are boring.
