Like others have said it really depends what you like. I can appreciate Fury’s performance against Wlad but for me It wasn’t an exciting fight... AJ Wlad that was exciting.

Fury as a personality is far from boring as a boxer his style isn’t an exciting one and you have to be a boxing nut to really appreciate it.

I have been saying for a while that his come back will generate huge attention but I don’t think that is sustainable without fighting wilder or Joshua because the casuals will remember why they had never been bothered by fury the fighter before.

The Fury v Wlad fight must be the worst ever stinker seen in a Boxing Ring - it made big Fraudley look exciting.

I’ve always found Fury’s fights and style as boring as hell to watch but as an individual he’s fascinating. I actually like the guy when he’s got his head screwed on right but that said, the majority of the time I personally find him immature, crude and quite an embarrassment.

Hit the nail on the head there, I've got to agree with everything.

I'd also go to the extent of saying that had Fury not masterclassed the Klitschko fight he was in, then AJ would have been finished off by Wlad on the night of his win, because I agree, as another poster said previously, Fury took a bit of Wlad's soul that night, and even if it were only minimal doubts that planted themselves in his head after it, that can make all the difference at that level.

That's not to take away from AJ at all in what was a famous win over a still top class Wladimir Klitschko, where he proved a lot, including myself, wrong

with brawls against mcdermott was good, and cunningham was entertaining but he wasnt boxing smart then he was brawling, sometimes you cant have both.

People bang on about Fury as if he's an ATG but let's be honest what's he ever done?
Hardly beaten a long line of great fighters has he?
Some need to take off their rose tinted glasses because they make out Fury is something that he's not.
He's been dropped on his arse a few times but it's ok because he got up and won?
But AJ and C Benn go down and get up and win but accused of having glass jaws by the same people haha

I don't think Fury's style is boring, his footwork is mesmerising and ring IQ exceptional he also likes to toy and taunt his opponents which adds entertainment value. Fury is at his most exciting when he is hurt, seen against Cunningham but not since. The way he picked apart and broke down Hamer and Chisora making them quit, no mas. Putting your hands behind your back against an ATG puncher like Klitschko. Epic.

He is also an absolute legendary p*** taker and wind up merchant - Batman being one of my favourites.

Best Heavyweight of his generation best since Lennox Lewis. ATG potential but he chose to not take life too seriously. Sure he has no regrets.

There is absolutely no chance he’s the best of his generation.

I’m always interested to know what people thought prior to the Klitschko performance...

It was a great performance in the ring but personally think he had beat Klitschko before they even stepped in the ring.

Klitschko is the only top 10 fighter he has faced. Only title fight he’s ever been in.

That'd be because Mr Haye didn't fancy it, as well as others for far too long. He should have had his first big title fight long before he got it and it's through no fault of his own that he didn't get it. Unfortunately he didn't have an Eddie Hearn to push and hype him

I've watched fury since the early days and always liked him because you have to respect his skills... But everyone seems blinded by the klitschko fight, who has he beat previous, you can't qualify someone as an ATG by beating the likes of chisora, hammer and Cunningham. AJ has fought better opposition.

I find it hard to believe people saying they find him entertaining to watch fight. Great in build up no doubt...

'Potential' ATG. He will go into the same bracket as fighters like Naseem Hamed and John Conteh.

With regards to Boxing skill he is the best Heavyweight of his generation.

He hasn't proved that yet, appreciate he beat the man in klit but the wilder or AJ fight will be a completely different fight, like Tyson said everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face. Will he be able to slip and move when he has a more athletic powerful fighter in front of him. Only when he beats them all do you class him as an all time great.

However fury returns he wins he justifies it but I feel of he loses he blames the witch hunt against him and how he would have beat them without going up to 27st etc...

    Just my opinion
