Just read on the Russian news that Ibragimov's manager - Boris Greenberg in his recent interview accused Klitschko of stealing "their" idea of unifying the titles.:nut

Where is this douchebag coming out with all this non-sense from?

If anybody is interested I can provide a more detailed translation.

But didn't Klitschko talk about unifying way before Sultan even became a title holder?

All the same, it's hardly like Sultan 'invented' unification anyway.

Boris seems a bit of a loud-mouth...when the Chagaev fight was cancelled he spent quite a while insulting Ruslan and deriding his abilities, which seemed a very silly thing to do considering they might well have been able to arrange the fight at a later date.

Why kill off a potential promotion like that?

Now he's been blabbering about Wladimir in the build-up to this fight. He's a brave man considering he's not the one taking the punches.

Boris Greenberg is a gold digger - first gets pneumonia-asthma illness affected and overweight/undertrained Briggs to fight Sultan in June, then makes Evander travel to Moskow in October and now suggests that Wladimir was not supposed to meet other Commission's titlists..."But it's far more difficult to defend the title after winning. This is what defines a fighter, what defines the champion, and now this is my goal. I want to unify the titles. I want to fight Nicolay Valuev ( the WBA title-holder), I hope (WBC titlist) Hasim Rahman defends his title and becomes a big star, and then I fight him for the undisputed championship. Unfortunately, Lamon Brewster was hurt in his last fight, but I would love to fight him again and set the record straight..." Wladimir Klitschko in 2006 and prior to Lyakhovich losing the WBO title to Shannon and Shannon fighting Iggy under those circumstances. I don't hear the kind of things that Greenberg is saying from Bernd Boente.

That's the way Greenberg is promoting the fight. Actually he's bashing Wlad on every occasion. Somebody should kick his ass.

It doesn't matter who was thinking unification first. What matters is who wins the fight. Just imagine the loser talking **** after the fight "I might have lost, but I was the guy who originally wanted to unify", geez, they would sound like Al Gore.

I read on a site that is confidential about its boxing, where Greenberg refered to Wlad as a Ukranian mother fu**er, and now Wlad is going to see if he'll say it to his face when he gets the chance.

I didn't think the K brothers ever got very stirred up by trash talking like that, as they always seem to be very professional and let it go, but apparently Wlad did get a bit fired up over it.

Funny you mention how civily the K brothers handle trash talk.

Only once did I see the older Klitschko almost lose it at a press conference for the Corrie Sanders fight.

A reporter, sitting just a few feet from him, asked, "You and Wlad are brothers, how come he has a glass chin?"

Val turned to stone; it looked like smoke was gonna come out of his ears. He moved on, never answering the question, but his eyes were fixed on that reporter.
