Boston Tom McMustache was 5 feet 9 inches, 162 pounds of pugilistic perfection!!

Is he a top 10 heavyweight?? The public will decide what Boston Tom decided with his fists! :ibutt

No, Lucky Sambo got the better of him in their series from what I've read, the newspapers were pretty much split down the middle with the praise edging towards the 5'1 Featherweight.

McMoustache fought in an era which was, lo, the very peak of boxing. Skills and general masculinity devolved and sharply declined thereafter, lo, the colour bar was smashed.

Many revisionists who watch youtube and use google instead of seeking out and randomly finding old newspapers in abandon buildings, view the colour bar as an obstruction to a race that dominated the division for 80 years after...these are what you call reverse racists. If anything the colour bar weeded out inferior fighters, so that all we were left with is the very elite fighting each other over and over again with no eye balls.

Boston Tom was 137lbs, had no eye balls and fought many HOFers with no ink stain black blemishes on their records to take away from their depth of resume. Young revisionists are wowed by eye balls, which are only good for inaffective flurry blinks in the last 4 seconds of every round.

Boston Tom fought to more draws than any other fighter in history. And that was just the tip of the iceberg, as much of his fights are not recorded, and he probably drawn them all.

Yes, he may look like your little sister throwing a tantrum dizzy on lemonade in the only footage we have of him, sparring. But Nat Fleischer, lo, who saw him in the flesh when he was 3 years old, lauds him as 6 leagues abover Tyson in skill and power, is less mainstream and has less footage of himself on youtube. Nat Fleischer also had a huge ****, the myth that blacks have big cocks is ludicrous and if anything they have devolved cocks.

Is McMoustache a top 10 ATG HW? Well you present a valid argument for any of those bluegums why they should be ranked above him. And if you make any sense, lo, i'll track you down the old fashioned way, because the internet is devolved, and lynch you

:nono Sambos manager 'Tex' Smith himself said Sambo outpunched McMustache, 'The Boston Daily Tumbleweed' said Sambo had 'a white heart' which shows you how courageous he was.

I've read an account of a fighter called Tom McMoustache in an English publication. Anglophilic spelling or English imitator of the Boston Great?

I see your sarcasm, but those 555 losses need to be looked at in perspective. odern revisionism is innacurate and devolved

Nudging top 10,but no further. Hes certainly no Screaming Otis Beaufort, who, as the late great boxing afficionado of the day Stewart 'Stewarty' Steward once said, could chew through a full pouch of tobacco whilst taking on up to 5 and 6 on-comers over regular 85x15 min round fights. We dont know his fight history, colour, weight or gender but one thing we do know is that he could fight

"Stewarty" was a bad man himself. We have no footage, no fight records, and no reports of anything he ever actually did that was in any way pertaining to fisticuffs, but as Boston Tom once said himself, "I stare death in the face on a daily basis and beat the **** out of it regularly, which i later drink - the **** - but there's one man I'd never even unknowingly glance at and that's Stewart "Stewarty" Steward."

I'd say he could have licked every boxer who ever lived in his pomp.

That's all relative, though. Sambo was defeated by none other than Chocolate Negro Kid on 12 different occasions over a one week span, and beat him rather easily, by all accounts.

(Granted, the only account that we have of these epic encounters is from the Kid himself, but he was never the type of exaggerate about his record, was he, now?)

I realize that Sambo was only 11 and a half years old when these fights took place, but he had already held wins over the likes of Mexico Joe and "The Mighty Squirter", Mick McWhirter, so this is a pretty notable feather in the CNK's cap....not that he was ever pictured wearing one.

Anyway, we all know how McMustache fared against CNK in their fabled encounter...And we all know that Boston Tom's epic victory over Kid trumps being run hard by a version of Sambo that still had quite a bit to offer inside the ring.

    So there! :bart
