Both guys have yet again said they want to fight him brook said it and now porter said he wants him since the thurman fight could drag out Garcia will most likely fight salka 2
It's only natural. DSG is the most beatable undefeated, P4P ranked fighter out there. If you want to make a big statement, DSG is the way to go.
I think Danny could beat Porter but look bad doing it. Official decision aside though, I'd put money on Porter. Brook on the other hand beats Danny easy.
I always said as soon as danny fights an actual decent fighter he's gonna get sparked the fk out. Peterson was beating his ass in the second half of their fight. Brook, Porter and Thurman all beat Garcia with relative ease.
I don't think he beats him easy, but to each his own. Danny keeps getting underrated and it's a shame. No one gives him his just due, props but he just wins.
I like Danny, but he's disappointed me in every fight after the Matthysse fight. And I believe he's only cherry picked ONE fight in Salka, which is forgivable in my book. I don't think the Herrera and Peterson fights were cherry picks and I don't hold the gifts against him. He's a very good, limited fighter. He's one dimensional.
Lots of fighters are one dimensional, but they're so good doing that one thing they're almost impossible to beat. And I don't think he's fully one dimensional, he looks slow as molasses in there at times but he's a fairly good boxer and has power in both hands. He's a fairly good boxer-puncher. Definitely lackluster in terms of big key opponents. If he had carried that Matthysse win momentum and fought big opponents and kept winning, he definitely would be a PPV fighter right now. But he definitely took a fair amount of damage in that Matthysse fight and perhaps wanted a few tune ups. That killed the momentum, and adding to the fact that he did poorly against Herrera (Which I did have him shading), it completely destroyed it. But I think now he's trying to fight some bigger names and trying to rebuild that momentum and recognition, and I hope he does it. He has the X factor (From what I've seen), the ability, the entertainment value, the dedication to be the best. I like DSG, and don't think that's changing anytime soon.
I initially had him winning vs Herrera and I haven't rescored it. I must admit, I was a tad biased. I had him losing to Peterson. I hope he can be successful legitimately like the Matthysse fight. Despite his shortcomings I'm still a fan. I root for him every time out, an official loss might be good for him.
I think Garcia is a solid fighter but would call him a overachiever nothing more nothing less. I expected more from him over the years his fights with peterson and Herrera/judah was very disappointing to say the least. Brook and Thurman would beat him with ease i would also pick Porter over him he has done well though for himself.
