That’s a surprise, but he looks like he’ll be frozen out of the title picture for at least the next year or so (Fury-Usyk and a rematch). Coupled with the fact he’s not been exciting on his last two opportunities on big cards (Zhang and McKean) I doubt anyone wants to pay him to fight a knockover while he maintains IBF #1.
He's in a better position now to get fights. Now he can fight Zhang again, or take on someone else. This opens up possibilities for him. He should move to Australia, Canada or to the USA.
Wait for the Wallin fight or rematch Zhang. Beating Zhang for the second time would make his stock skyrocket. Better now, than before Zhilei drops a decision against some good, slick guy (hopefully Usyk; it would be a shame to waste the Big Bang hype train on anybody else.)
I'd assume Top Rank will want him so they can take advantage of his ranking and they love signing European fighters too.
