Truth be told, I was never that big of a fan of these 2 and wasn’t rooting for either one, just wanted a good interesting fight. And they did indeed deliver a good fight despite another controversial decision. People have been praising Fury because of his comeback, performance, and recovery. Rightfully so, but I think Wilder also deserves some respect as well. We knew he couldn’t outbox Fury and would get frustrated but never once was he discouraged, stopped trying, or quit. He fought his best opponent to date and he almost stopped Fury. His power is NO JOKE and he’ll always be a dangerous fighter in every minute of a fight. Both of their stock went up IMO and both deserve mad respect. I wouldn’t mind seeing a rematch, they made the HW division really interesting.
Definitely man, the knockdowns made it an exciting fight. Wilder has a better chin than I thought, and Fury proved he can actually be good to watch. But there was only one winner. The judges scorecards was the only thing wrong with last night. Fury after coming back from what he's been through deserved a fair verdict.
It was a great fight and both men deserve respect. Wilder showed he has real power and Tyson for most of the fight proved that he could outbox Wilder and stay out of danger enough to win almost every round clearly. It was a fascinating clash of styles and a high level chess match happening at Heavyweight is something I can't say I've seen for a while. Even though Wilder was losing halfway through you thought maybe he could catch Fury with something and it happened ... twice. For Fury to get up like that it was amazing. It really was one of the best Heavyweight Fights I've seen in years. Maybe even better than AJ Wlad. (both were epic)
