Massive respect to both for this fight. Pulling for the old fox here, but either way, good to see this matchup get made.

Why? We have percentages, and we know SHO & HBO's fees were similar.

    And he got it.

Par contre, la décision de Kovalev de laisser 75 pour cent des revenus totaux à Hopkins ne le surprend nullement. Le champion de la WBO serait désespérément à la recherche de visibilité.

Kovalev wanted visibility, was willing to take 25% to BHop's 75%. Stevenson didn't want to go down to 25%, BHop signed to fight Kovalev.

    What exactly is suspicious?

Au pire call la, la bull****... j'ai rien dit de faux. T'as lu les articles de RDS aujourd'hui?

Hopkins needs the payday. He also realizes that Kovalev is generally considered his greatest challenge. Props to him.

Without knowing the financials of the proposed Adonis deal, I doubt any reasonably intelligent :yep human being would believe Yvonne Michael :rofl:rofl:rofl

I haven't seen anywhere that says that Stevenson would have to have accepted 25%in order to make the fight.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Stevenson priced himself out, or made the the terms untenable, then throws a smokescreen up to persuade the critics. I can't say for sure that it happened obviously. I have no idea. But I certainly wouldn't put too much stock in what Stevenson and his camp say. They haven't earned that benefit of the doubt. Not with their actions in the past 6 months or so.

The Kovalev and Stevenson offers were in the same territory price wise. Kovalev said yes to 25%, Stevenson said no. If you need help with French translation, hit me up tomorrow.

Need help? My knowledge of French is only slightly behind that of my knowledge of manchurian folk dancing.

Anyway, I did google translation, but saw nothing in regards to figures. How do we know the figures were similar? Are you basing it on something not posted?

Sports 30 Mag, was on @ 1830 hrs on RDS tonight. I'm taking Stephen Espinoza and Yvon Michel's word on it. Until proven otherwise, that stands. :conf

    Well, what did they say?

Did they directly quote the figures offered to Stevenson?
