Guerrero is the type of guy you want to win but I just don't see how he could pull it off against those two.

Guerrero-Linares is a close fight. Guerrero has solid skills/abilities and forces his opponents into fighting rough fights. Linares' has shown some weaknesses against much worse pressure fighters than Guerrero and it would be interesting to see how he would deal with his offense and inside game. I would love to see this match get signed, it would answer important questions about both fighters.

Agreed, I favour Linares, but don't count Guerrero out. This whole 'Linares is a future P4P star and let's all doubt Gamboa' mess is absurd.

Now Gamboa, he'd KO Guerrero in a few rounds.

the truth is that Linares would toy with Guerrero. Guerroro would follow him around all night missing his shots and Linares would but him off balance with his far superior movement and have him eating hard shots all night until he stops him.

I've seen Linares fight 2 pressure fighters of similar caliber to Guerrero and he easily demolished them.

Linares is really not what you think he is. A good fighter with good attributes, but also plenty of vulnerabilities and his power is just average.

I can easily forsee Linares having chin liabilities also. Gamboa would starch him now.

One Linares nuthugger even told me that Linares beats Guzman at the moment, as in year 2008, this was totally absurd. Linares couldn't even hang with Humberto Soto at this point in his career.

Guerrero is a good guy and a tough/rugged fighter, but both John and Linares beat him in good fights.

please, if you fail to see that Linares and Guerrero are on 2 different levels, then really your opinion on the matter is hardly valuable

I'm pretty sure you're the guy who thinks John and Linares would beat Gamboa.

Here's a level chart for the three fighters.

    Guzman

    Linares

    Guerrero

Linares is 1 level up from Guerrero, maybe 2, but he's also weak to pressure and Guerrero shouldn't be counted out in the fight. It's not like we're talking about Yuriorkis Gamboa here, we're talking about Jorge Linares.
