We are not talking about them, we're talking about some new kid on the block cutting in line via money, stealing other fighters' hard earned shot and repeating it after a loss. But if you wanna talk others: it took Lomachenko one professional fight that took Clenelo over a decade: to be entitled and have money and promoter's influence talk, and you're here defending the guy against all those (like Salido) who actually earned it? Shame on you.

Get off your high horse... it's not like ONE fight set all these other fighters back years. Not to mention, there's 3-4 belts per division to fight for. We get it, you hate Loma.

And it's ironic you try to use Canelo as some form of reasoning? Look at who he fought for his first WBC title. o_O

    Wait up here!
Canelo turned pro at 15, Salido at 17.
Lomachenko wasn´t just gifted Top Rank´s favoritism. He won it in the amateurs.

At 20, Loma won his first Gold medal. By the time Loma turned pro, he had 396 wins and only 1 loss in the amateurs. He put in the work.
He won a Gold medal. He then won another Gold medal. He also won 2 World Championships.

You giving **** for Gary Russell being part of that title fight? The hell had he done to earn that shot? How dare you!

Boxing is scored by the rnds. It doesn’t matter what the total punch count is. Loma threw lots of punches in the later rnds but he didn’t throw **** in the early rnds. That was what cost him the fight. Trying to argue he won cause of overall punches thrown is what a casual boxing fan would do.

What Bigbone doesn't get is most boxers turn pro at a young age. Essentially with still developing bodies and technique. A lot are basically kids fighting grown men. Hence the first 15+ fights versus very winnable opponents. Match a young prospect too soon, they can be ruined. Francisco Bojado, Ricardo Williams, Victor Ortiz...all examples of that. Young boxers/prospects need that mental toughness almost more so then just the physical attributes.

It was a huge gamble that Loma fought who he did right off the bat. Personally I don't necessarily agree with title shots that soon. But clearly his amateur pedigree was looked at. He wasn't some wet behind the ear prospect.

Only on stuff he had get is to hate Loma.

Of course. There also is thing that the better boxer is, the more he cost.
How to get enough attention to said prospect?
    1. He is amateur superstar.
    2. He does have nice looking record.
Small shows the same: I you are with 4-0-0 record for casuals this always looks better than if record is 2-0-0
Fight cards in ads show: boxer a, record, boxer b, record. Ppl are buying tickets.

While Salido showed rough and sometimes illegal tactics to build a lead, Loma came back second half of the fight. Had him winning 115-113

OMG BRUTAL.. Embarassing you lot seriously. Utterly pathetic Loma outlanded with cleaner and better punches in rounds 2, 3 and 6. It's not debatable unless you scoring punching elbows, gloves, and shoulders?

Utterly ridiculous the confident lambasting on this forum. I can honestly guarantee you 99% of you have watched the fight the once and not actually paid proper attention to the close exchanges because Loma outlanded definitively. Casual fans scoring fights is a recipe for disaster. How many times do I have to say it? Punching to elbows and gloves is not clean punching. You guys can confidently say what you like, you're objectively wrong in this regard, but keep thinking you're right whatever. Absolutely utterly deluded

Oh for **** sake here we go with the Loma not throwing punches BS. He ****ing landed cleaner more numerous punches in rounds 2, 3 and 6.

So much delusion in this forum, you guys have probably watched the fight once seen Lopez swinging for elbows and gloves and walking forward and thought derp there we go Lopez round.. Derp

Keep telling yourself that. The rest of the boxing world saw him lose. The only derp here are fools like you who thinks he out-landed and won the early rnds.

    You score missed/blocked punches?
