I've heard, but never confirmed, that MMA guys always fight the best? No protecting that 0? They are forced?

    Can this work in boxing?

If it was me? Yeah i'd choose Spence. You can chase the road to greatness and STILL make a mint. These guys just aren't doing any of the work. These guys will make a ton of money off the scrubs, but they won't be remembered as anything but a foot note of the time.

MMA might not always fight the best but the 0 is not as important, being exciting is more important. I agree, boxers are too afraid to lose and it seems like that’s the reason some fights are hard to make.

Well thats because theres only 1 champion in each division. If Boxing was limited to only 1 champion per division im sure the best would be fighting the best on a regular basis. So no i dont think that system would work, because theres too many belts, some being given out like cracker jack prizes.

The difference with this is the UFC is a brand within itself. The show will sell out before the full line up is announced. Boxing doesn’t have that brand recognition, or at least a promotional agent doesn’t

Yeah, pretty much. This is Floyd's legacy...making boxer who fight the worst opp for the most money. Par for course I'd say...

I don't mind Garcia, I wouldn't be interested in watching his out of the ring antics. He can fight, but he also reminds me of Amir Khan. Got skills but seems deluded and probably as good at calling out for big fights and then fighting nobodies waiting for a Clenelo paycheck.

Tank on the other hand, a very good explosive fighter who isn't active enough in meaningful fights but will regret these years he is wasting.

I come on these boards man but I really am beginning to detest it

It's the greatest sport in the world when the f....g fighters fight when they are supposed to

No matter who's side we are on, but Floyd fighting manny 5 years late has had a major knock on effect

Wasn't too long ago Oscar was the Golden boy and he fought nearly everyone. He had his losses but he seeked the fights

    It's a joke now

Too many belts son. But if you can have only 1 belt in boxing it should be the Ring Magazine belt, ya dig.

i favor Tank in the fight by KO sure,
but i wouldn’t call García an EASY win.
I think he gives Tank a harder fight then either Pitbull Cruz or Rolly did.

he presents more of a challenge & risk at least early on in the 1st half of the fight.

Talk is cheap. Lets see them both in the ring.

Yeah, well... that's basically all Rollie Romero does as well, and he took several rounds off of Tank and stunned him a few times. Barrios also is rudimentary, yet won at least 6 rounds off of Tank, Isaac Cruz arguably 7. Tank isn't that hard to outbox. He's bails himself out with his power. Without it, he'd be nothing as well. So I don't think anyone needs to overstate the quality level of Davis either. The reality is, they're both limited power punchers.

You guys are way too focused on this dude's looks. Ryan should just do his talking inaide the ring. The social media following schtick is annoying n
He didn't force anyone to follow his blueprint though.
