Both the Donaire-Vasquez Jr and Ward-Froch scorecards were a joke

THese two fights stand out to me since both happened rather recently and both were extremely much closer than they appeared to be. These judges are outta control really. How the **** did Dr. Rueben Garcia have that fight for Vasquez 115-122? How the hell did Ward win 115-113 on 2 cards? its crazy. What do you guys think?

    Absolutely agree 100%.

The Ward Froch scorecards which were equally criminal to the Garcia scorecard flew under the radar because they at least had the right guy winning. But there was no way Froch won 5 rounds.

The Garcia card was even more dangerous because it had the wrong guy winning. They guy that should have LOST by 7-9 points.

    I had it 118-110 and 118-109.

They were no brainer fights to score unless you have an agenda or are a complete moron.

Imagine if Ward hasn't been so dominating what the scores would have been when Froch wins 2-3 rounds and somehow takes 5 of them.

When the underdog doesn't get decapitated in a round, he wins it...

Some people actually score rounds this way.

I seriously believe you are onto something. Same goes for hometown fighters in step up fights.

I could have given Donaire a straight shutout last night, b/c even the 2 rounds I gave Vasquez were close enough to give to the favorite.

As for Froch......I rewatched that fight about 3 times after the first one in real time. And argument could be made that Froch won 4 rounds. That said, I score it 117-111. But giving Carl 5 rounds is ludicrous. Dre won 8 rounds decisively, without a doubt. Carl, won 3 rounds clearly IMO and there was one that could have swung or been scored 10/10.

As we all know Bute shut Johnson out, but one judge gave him a round or two if I rememeber.....after rewatching that one, I struggled to even give Johnson 1/2 of a round.

But I think it's like you said....these judges seem to purposefully be creating controversy.......maybe to make the idea of a rematch sound more intriguing a year or so down the line, IDK.....but it's something aweful if that's the case. :think
