It was cancelled a few weeks back, the promoter didn't pony up the cash. Both guys are trying to set up fights, Holyfield rumoured against Deric Rossey perhaps, although Holyfield-Botha might not be a dead deal yet either if they can get a venue in the States for it.
Yawn... who cares? As the fight get on and off and on and off, the man is getting older and older and older...
Report today saying that Holyfield-Botha may get re-scheduled for April 21st, in the US. I guess if so that would mean Botha would drop the Abell fight. Either or.
"Holy-Botha" can and will sell, but the promoters and fighters need to be reasonable.... Neither old fart warrior is gonna be able to command millions of dollars for this fight.... And fighting in Uganda was utterly lame to begin with...... Uganda doesn't have any cash-flow rolling through that country...... Bring the fight to the USA and placed it on a low-budget PPV and let it roll from there........ MR.BILL
