Saw this fight just got announced. Who wins? I will have to be honest, I have not been very impressed with Solis thus far. However, I am not sure if Botha has enough left to beat him.

Botha was knocked out at K1 by Mighty Mo, a guy that doesn't kick at all, some years ago. Botha is at least as shot as Riddick Bowe.

My prediction is that the fight is called no contest after the ring collapses from their collective tonnage.

Because he is not technically beaten, it is Botha's best fight ever.

This fight won't even be competitive. Botha's just there for a payday - and he wasn't that good to begin with. He'll be gone before the second round.

A Younger, hungry fighter with everything to fight for VS a Old, shot, former contender with nothing at all but pride (which he has none of after crossing over to K1 and getting spanked) to fight for, this only ends one way by Solis Stoppage. Botha may give him a few rounds but if Solis cant get Botha out of there then I'd be worried.

I'm picking Solis by UD, bc maybe Botha is in shape since Solis camp is pursuing this fight since last December.

    Wrong again Holyfield nuthugger.

Botha was a good heavyweight that overachieved. Not great, but he was always game.

Solis has been matched very toughly up to now for which I truly give him credit! He didnt look that convincing against the American behemoth Long, but apart from that fight he has performed more or less quite convincingly in front of us critical fight fans IMO.
Of course he should lose some weight and keep his nose to the grindstone sweating in a gym instead of sweating in a line while waiting to take his turn to order some hamburgers in a McDonalds! Right now he relies too much on his natural talent. He needs a tough and rigourous coach in his adopted Germany.
Artur Abraham's merciless drill seargant would be the ideal trainer for the lazy Cuban as that grumpy German coach Wegner usually has a whip in his hand when being in the gym.
