Would the outcome have been different?

    Yes, it would be different.

Botha would get battered pillar to post like Ruddock did, except Ruddock also fought back.

Botha didnt hit his prime till around 1995/1996. In 1991 he was still very green, it would be a mismatch.

a knock out. But Murder often means when one is dominating then smashing him up..
Paq v hatton is a perfect example of Murder!

Rewatched the fight. Botha was winning the fight hands down until Tyson got the knockout.
    Very entertaining while it lasted.

yeah wasn't sure if botha was even active in 91. what a weird thread.

when we credit botha winning the fight we gotta remember that tyson was in his first fight off a layoff and first fight with brooks if my memory is right. tyson looked like he was over thinking in there and was just plodding forward as if confused on how he was gonna proceed for much of the fight. also, wasn't botha doing a lot of grabbing and sneaky clubbing shots.... also, botha was actually a tough decent hw for a few years around this time

if the question is how would a 91 tyson do vs 98 botha -- i'd say tyson would also get a ko but we wouldn't have people saying how well botha did. 91 tyson wasn't the same as he was a couple years prior under cus but he wasn't confused in the ring and woulda been throwing a lot more and botha wouldn't have been able to steal rounds
