Still Holyfield is but a shadow of his former self. He didn't look good against Valuev either - only that Valuev, who is so overrated, was even worse in that fight. I don't wanna see Holyfield near the Klitschkos. They would put a beating on him, and it wouldn't be pretty. I don't care if Vitali beats up someone like Arreola, but I wouldn't like him to beat up good old Holyfield. Yeah, I know Evander would probably have beaten the Klits back in the day, but that time is long gone. He's been on the decline for nearly 10 years. I wouldn't want to see him face Haye either, he'd have stopped Haye 10 years ago but now Haye is just too fast.

Have you seen his last fight? I was hoping for Botha to get some good wins under his belt, because I like the guy, but after having seen his last performance I lost all hope for him - he's still healthy and should retire now. That's my opinion.

But I can understand you. You seem to be a hardcore Botha fan and want to see him get one last big win, maybe a title. Same here, only with Toney, I'm still trying to convince myself that he might get a title at HW - but thinking about it objectively, it's probably best he should retire while still healthy..

Shane Mosley and Bernard Hopkins are both old and have lost recently, yet no one is urging them to retire. They don't seem to be as shot as Holy but Evander hasn't exactly been poor. Valuev may have looked poor but he was still a top 5 heavy that Holyfield beat convincingly, whether he got the desicion or not. He held his own against Ibragimov and hasn't really taken much of a beating since Toney in 2003. He only fights very infrequently but still keeps himself in great shape.

I wouldn't want to see him get seriously hurt but I don't think he will. He will stop Botha easily and if he gets a title fight, the most likely scenario is a wide points loss. Holy's only KO loss is to Riddick Bowe and neither Klitschko puches as hard as Bowe.

I like Botha, but, he best get that Buffalo ass of his in-shape......... I don't wanna see him looking like the Blob at 265 pounds with handles hanging down to his knees.....

Even in his prime Both had a thick girth area and porous stamina, but he came to fight and was a gallant warrior in victory and defeat........... I don't mind old farts hanging around the scene as long as they are serious and giving a good account of himself....

You are probarbly right. But they know what they are getting into. To be honest i do think Toney could get some big wins even now. Any news who he has got next?

Not sure Botha's last fight was fair to go on. Opponent changed at last minute, "Broke his hand" and probarbly unmotivated. Against Timo i thought he looked pretty good. I know timo is nothing special but he himself could beat Carrion. Anyway i do think if he loses this fight with Evander he should retire. And that applies to Holyfield too. But what would happen to the winner? If holyfield wins surely he will get a title shot or a very big fight? And for Botha? A big fight and payday not sure about a real title shot for him yet though.
