    To be completely fair, you don't show up to a PPV and perform like that, period. If you want the glory you need to bring it, not run away from your opponent all night. That's not how stars are born. Like it or not, boxing is about entertainment just as much as ability.

    He deserved to loose the fight :deal

    It was insulting to us as fans. While watching I knew he probably was winning but was actually HOPING he got robbed.

    I was praying for a robbery by mid fight.

    Lara winning that fight would have ZERO positive impact on the sport

    ****ing scumbag deserved ever last bit of that decision

    I think he could of have done more to be honest since you have to realize that one judge did give him the fight !!! I think if he would have thrown more and stayed in the pocket and make Canelo miss and pay then we probably won't be having this discussion. It was a very close fight that could of gone either way but Lara should have known that if the fight is close then it's not going to go his way !!!

    Lara set out to make drainelo look like the slug he is and that is exactly what happened. drainelo swung at ghost and air all night. The so called body shots were punches to back legs hips nuts and arms . he could not cut off the ring and every punch he through was telegraphed.

    He resorted to a old dela hoya trick that hoya used in his fight against floyd just go out look busy hit hime any where you can.

    that may play to the blind drainelo fans but not me. i saw it for exactly what it was. a big slow slug with cement blocks on his feet that loads up every punch and hopes that you stand still so he can hit you.

    he has no skills only judges and referees in his pocket.

    Although I have no problem with Canelo getting the nod, there is no entertainment criteria when judging a fight. To say Lara didn't deserve to win because he wasn't entertaining enough is ridiculous.

    People are confusing running with skill, after the first three rounds lara didn do anything or look particularily skillful and hes running makes him look as bad or worse than the it does canelo
